1966,and a 1962 thats almost complete
I have a black cadillac that spends most of its life (unfortunatley) in a garage. The car was repainted in 1996 a singel stage urathane paint. It is going to a proffetional detailer to be detailed for a parade. This is a car that I cant even remember washing since I have owned it.Its never gets dirtyer then to need a whipe down with a california duster .The detailing guy also does my fleet of work vans A great guy to deal with.

Anyways I have spoken to him in the past about Zaino and the process of how its applyed and how well it works. And he had explained that with all the labor of rewaxing the car, any wax would look great. He is willing to do the cadillac with Zaino if I want him to do it.So I guess i am looking for a profestional opinon on what you think of the product. My detailer is not an internet type of a guy to go read about it.He did say none of his detailing association magazines or newsletters has ever made mention of it.

His thought are that the best wax available are the pure carnuba wax's

Anybody thought would be apreceated.

I personally have used zaino before and thought I had excellent results with it.But I was also thinking of all those nights in the garage doing layer after layer.

the only thing I did not like about zaino was it seemed to attract bug's to my 2 yellow vettes

And so you guys dont think Im lazy. here is a picture of the car .The surface area of the car is equal to 2 C5 vettes or compared to my C2 its like 3 cars

The cars is dirty now because I had left it out side over night and its covered with the Night DEW and the polin thats in the air

I would stick with using Zaino. I am thinking perhaps Detailing people do not use it because of the expense and it lasts too long. Nice Caddy!

I sell Zaino to a couple of professional detailers around where I live. I have to say that they have done their homework and know the wax/polish industry. They use more than just Zaino but their customers dictate which product they want to have applied.

It's possible your detail person may not have read anything about it in his trade publications. I didn't learn about it until I jumped on the Internet 4 years ago and actively started to look for a product.

Think about it; if the typical carnuaba wax application lasts anywhere between 4 and 8 weeks and the typical Zaino application lasts 4 to 6 months, how much repeat business would a typical professional detailing person receive on the latter? If the customer is willing to pay, the professional detailer will apply just about anything. I don't fault them. Detailers have to make a living also.

BTW, I miss seeing those classic big Cadillacs. There are not too many anymore at the car shows.

Hi IH2LOSE,
Sweet Mother of You Know Who! I dreamt of cars like that. Go the the ice cream shop with that......wow!
Only a Vette can top it.

I would just do the normal Dawn wash, claybar, then Zaino. Might as well do it right. ;)
