Hi all
I have a 2007 C6 coupe which has been back to the dealer 6 times for a vibration in the steering wheel. Vibration begins at 58 mph and gets worse the faster I drive.
Here is a little history...
1st service-they rebalanced all wheels with traditionall balace machine- vibration unchanged.
2nd service-they rebalanced all the wheels using roadforce - vibration unchanged.
3nd service-they replaced front right rim due to excessive roadforce - vibration unchanged.
4rd service-they replaced front right tire due to escessive roadforce - vibration unchanged.
5th service-they replaced right rear tire due to excessive roadforce - vibration got worse!
6th service - now in the shop. They did a frequency vibration analysis with GM. Result: They have ordered a new front left tire.
The dealer does not dispute the vibration, but can't fix it. I called GM customer assistance this week and now have a claim number with them. Not sure how that will help, but this issue has now gotten beyond OLD. I really don't see any end to this process.
If anyone has some advice, I'd love to hear it.
Thanks...

and probably drive at the posted limit. I know I'm going to get a lot of crap for that last remark:W and I was kind of kidding; but really most people don't drive above 75 mph on a regular basis. In fact I bet most don't drive above 55mph.
I'm an exception but I have the Z51 option and love the feed back I get.
Except for my Subi STi stie it's the only one I visit on a regular basis. By the way I got my ass kicked by a Viper last Saturday; well not exactly kicked. I had him for about 500 feet. At the next light the girl next to him was smiling at me and said she thought I had a hot car. The driver didn't say anything.:L
