Shaaa Zaaam.............. I've been to 3 County Fairs and 1 Goat Screwing,and never seen anything like this!!


But it's plain to me from the photos that Toms Cap probably had a cold casting and was arcing somewhat from the coil to #5 from the GET GO and was getting ready to start arcing to #3 and #7!!


Tom,you need to get in touch with your parts man and have it replaced or your $$$ back!!
No 2 Opti however,Is clearly technicians error!! It's plain that it wasn't aliened properly and forced onto the engine with the bolts and pushed it's guts clear up against the cap!!(Circular drag marks on cap,white plastic sensor cover and bowed back degree wheel!!)


There is no reason to have to force a Opti,if aligned properly it will just slip right down in place!!
