1980 Outboard Tail Light Lenses- Repro or part # for OEM??

Trying to help out a buddy with an 80 who wants to get rid of "bubble" lenses installed by previous owner. The "usual suspects" (Corvette Central, Ecklers etc) do not seem to repro these lenses which seems a bit strange. Going to be at Carlise anyway so thought I would check for NOS, repro, or...

With Viper splitting from Dodge, should Corvette have separated from Chevy?

Right wing nutcase? If it were not for PRESIDENT OBAMA and his administration's bailout of GM THERE WOULD BE NO CORVETTE being buiilt TODAY becasue there would be NO GM. You show both a lack of respect for the President and your IGNORANCE with your posting. GM has paid back the bailout money...

    Question: 1962 Corvette Windshield

Glassworks vs. Auto Entec There is no love lost between the father (Auto Entec) and son(Glassworks) after a business split up some years ago. The Corvette restoration shop that painted my car and installed a new top prefers Glassworks. 62 Roman Red 2 Tops

Help! Is finding a replacement carb for '80 L82 really this tough?

Rebuilt Rochester Q Jet Available @ Summit Racing You might want to look into Summit Racing part #64-7637 which is a rebuilt Q jet for your car if you can't find a rebuilder for yours. In this case Holley is rebuilding a GM (Rochester) carb which will have the correct bore spacing for your OEM...

    Help with Engine Identification

Starter part number and date code will tell you the application it was for NAPA or other FLAPS have cross references to the part number on the existing starter. Nobody will be looking thru a lot of boxes. There are maybe 2 or 3 starters for late model 350 small blocks. The newer the engine the...

    Help with Engine Identification

Starter- PS I have a perfectly good 1974(?) Chevy small block starter down in my basement spare parts box...took it out of my 1969 Top Flight 350/350 Corvette Coupe when I restored it. It is the "later style" (Mounts to block and not to the bellhousing as early Chevy V8s did) and won't fit my...

    Help with Engine Identification

Starter...Do you have the old one? If you have the old starter it will have a number on it. If you aren't doing a judged restoration take the old one down to your local NAPA and exchange it for a rebuilt....no brainer.
