Help! Cant get my hood open on my 68

I had the same problem on my 81 a few years ago and the only way I could get it open was to have a friend push down on the corner where the lock is to relieve pressure on the lock. Make sure to lube the locks really good when you get it open.

    Rebuild update

Well I finished my cooling system rebuild for the most part. I forgot to order new tubes for the trans. Cooling lines and I apparently lost my upper support bracket cushions so those will have to wait a couple weeks. I got new hoses, water pump, fan, clutch, pulleys, radiator, reservoir...

    Intake manifold

Well I have two holes on top of the thermostat housing for the egr and efe sensor but then I have an extra hole on each side of the housing. I'm assuming the temp sensor goes on the left side and I just simply plug the right.

Hey everyone, I bought a new intake manifold awhile back and I'm starting to buy new sensors for my car. Well I have two holes in the front of the manifold so my question is, what goes in those holes? Do I simply plug them or do sensors go there?

Sorry to hear about the hassle. The only thing I bought from them were their SS brake line kit which looked and installed awesome. But with this development, ill be weighing my options when I'm ready for the steeroids upgrade :/

    Help! Car Covers:

Your best bet would be to look around the internet for a better quality cover. Unfortunately the better covers go for $200+ but think of it as an investment.

    Speedo Cable Question

The gear should pull right out with some effort. I had a hard time myself with the removal. As far as the return lines, I saw someone on another forum disconnect the bottom line and let the fluid drain into a bucket while adding fluid to bleed the system. I can't remember though if they had the...

Do you mean the leaf spring? I used a floor Jack in the past. Just do one side at a time and take your time, you'll be fine.
