I had the same problem on my 81 a few years ago and the only way I could get it open was to have a friend push down on the corner where the lock is to relieve pressure on the lock. Make sure to lube the locks really good when you get it open.
Well I finished my cooling system rebuild for the most part. I forgot to order new tubes for the trans. Cooling lines and I apparently lost my upper support bracket cushions so those will have to wait a couple weeks. I got new hoses, water pump, fan, clutch, pulleys, radiator, reservoir...
Well I have two holes on top of the thermostat housing for the egr and efe sensor but then I have an extra hole on each side of the housing. I'm assuming the temp sensor goes on the left side and I just simply plug the right.
Hey everyone, I bought a new intake manifold awhile back and I'm starting to buy new sensors for my car. Well I have two holes in the front of the manifold so my question is, what goes in those holes? Do I simply plug them or do sensors go there?
Sorry to hear about the hassle. The only thing I bought from them were their SS brake line kit which looked and installed awesome. But with this development, ill be weighing my options when I'm ready for the steeroids upgrade :/
Your best bet would be to look around the internet for a better quality cover. Unfortunately the better covers go for $200+ but think of it as an investment.
