It not he bucks. It was whether to keep it original. Would have bought the original clamps from the dealer. I went with original hoses. I did today replace the clamps with S.S. worm gear types. My local Chevy parts dealer said to use the new type.

I am replacing all the radiator hoses on my 92 (original 5k miles) this weekend and I am trying to decide whether to replace the hose clamps with new screw type clamps or just re-use the original ones. I want to keep eveything original but dont want to compromise the repair.

Then I would think the new New Prestone formula "All Makes All Models Extended Life Antifreeze/Coolant" is green too. Prestone states it uses the traditional color.

Is the traditional prestone concidered yellow or green?

I need to add antifreeze to my 92 and found prestone now only offers a new type which claims it can be mixed with any color or type antifreeze. Has anybody had any experience with this new type. Also what color is it.

Did you use factory hoses or just a gates type replacement. Were is the petcock located. I dont have a factory manual yet. This car has so many covers and shrouds.

This car has only 4K miles on it. Why would the gears or bushings wear out so soon? Also do you have any disassembly instructions?

My headlights have a clicking noise after the are fully open or closing. It makes the clicking noise for about 3 seconds after they are complely closed or open. Is there a stop switch adjustment?

I just bought a Wolf cover from Ecklers. I used it while my garage was being rebuilt. It was a $100 custom fit cover and did a good job. I now use it when inside the garage. Good luck
