See here for a view of the interior from the drivers seat (plus more engine noises :) )

The only real problem in the interior is the drivers seat bolster, see pictures.
Here's a good introduction to the car - this video was taken in Aug 2012 after I put the new exhaust system on the car. Since this video was taken there have been a few upgrades to the fuel system including an aeromotive adjustable fuel pressure regulator (it runs at stock fuel pressure)...
SOLD
Time to sell this very unique car. I have owned it since July 2004 and I am very sorry to see it go.
Price Revised March 31 - $15,500 or sensible offers.
61,000 miles on the Chassis, only 3,000 miles on the engine and supercharger.
This is a 6-speed convertible with a fully built...
We found the problem; whoever installed guide plates did not machine the head to keep the stud bases in the correct place. Since I only need a minor bevelling to the rocker slot, I will use that technique.
Thanks all for your comments
The pistons are Probe LW40 (I have validated this from underneath), and when I bought the car I was told that it was an all forged 383. I agree on the tune - I am running a conservative tune and alcohol injection.
There is plenty of clearance between the rocker arms and the springs, and the...
Good questions - the build up was done well before I ever acquired the car and I have no information (I only discovered LT-4 heads after I blew the head gasket..)
RR are gold in color but have no obvious markings. I have to assume aftermarket. Also the studs - no clue, no obvious markings...
LT-1 with LT-4 Heads; RR; double springs; 7/16 Rocker studs
I am replacing some engine components after a head gasket blew. This question is about my Roller Rocker Setup...
So the ideal length pushrod for my setup (as far as roller against valve tip is concerned) causes the rockers to...
My '92 looks great from about 10 feet but when you get close there are a large number of small swirl marks, water marks etc. I polished the car a couple times when I first got it but I think I have managed to 'lock-in' some of the blemishes.
I have tried clay-bar and Maguires to try and...
I am a Brit living in the US. For me, 427 is absolutely the right label for the Z06, because of the history and American 'Swagger'. Europeans don't normally work in CU's so the translation takes a few seconds (like the difference between degrees F and degrees C). So for Europeans, they have...
My own mid-life crisis - when I came to the US in May 2004 I wanted a '69 mustang but found they were too expensive. Drove a new 'stang GT but hated it....
Never seen anything Corvette-wise in the UK but an old Stingray. So, at 40 years old (and 3 weeks after arriving in the US) I test drove a...
Interesting thread. I recently changed my oil because I'm drag racing this weekend (first time out - wish me luck!). Anyhow, the oil was supposedly changed just before I got the car 1500 miles ago, but when I drained the oil it was like SLUDGE. I asked someone local and they said because...
Thanks all, I have managed to find one at Corvette Central.. the car is definitely a garage queen until the new one arrives and I fit it. Amazingly I suspect it has been like this for about 2,000 miles, since well before I bought the car. !!!
Hey Mart,
Apparently they were shortened to get standard ZR-1 wheels onto a standard LT-1. Apparently the car is "race prepared" by a company in Charlotte, hence the rollbar and a whole load of engine, suspension and drivetrain work. Not sure of the reasoning - maybe when they did it there...
