    A quick update

It is always a good idea to build the complete car before any final finishes are applied. It pays off in the end with the final assembly. Put it together then take it apart, on and off on and off over and over again. It seems nothing is getting done but then it begins to snowball...

    Ls7 engine

As the ls7 is a great engine it is still alot of money. This kind of money could build alot of good combinations. Such as a splayed valve small block with a big bore, now thats a really trick piece. How much more for the dry sump and how many stages is it??? Just curious. I Always keep my...

With the roller rockers and lifters you can run a much higher valve spring rate. This allows you to have more control of your cam profile without coil bind and breaking springs and floating valves. www.pugesekmotorsports.com

That would be a dual plane meaning the ports run up and around each other instead of a straight shot. I prefer a open plenum you can work with them more to get them to work better. They say a dual plane is better on the street but I have yet to see it. But as you say you hood clearence issues to...

Also as far as HP and torque go. A good rule of thumb is stroke makes torque and bore makes HP. Small strokes love RPM as big strokes don't.

Again I can not tell you enough what a trick port job on a set of heads will give you. Its all about volume vs. air speed in the port and bowl. You will gain throttle response, driveability and power in this area by far the most. It is hard to find good shop that can do this with the correct no...

More bad news Now on my motor

If you can find out if it will be internal or externaly balanced. 454's are externaly balanced from GM but it works out nicer to internaly balance the engine. Also with that chamber size with a dome piston you compresion will be higher than that. To run that low of a compresion you will need...

The exhaust ports are the same between the two castings. Your headers will be fine.
