i just finished the final stage of my exhaust system (for now at least) by removing the cat and installing a test pipe.... so that along with the muffler eliminators has not only made the car sound AWESOME but has given it a whole buncha ooomph off the line:D

maybe i have been overlooking it but i do not see any exhaust gaskets listed when im looking at exhaust systems... should you have a gasket of some sort at the joints between the fornt and rear Y pipe and the cat? if so where do i find it cause im not seeing it

other than a batery shut off switch is there any way to kill your car so it cant be started and say driven up onto a flat bed and taken away... or even just mved or messed with by some idiot who knows he can do it if the key is within range to start the car... i dont like the fact that it can be...

i ordered a part for my 82 vette and honestly thought i had given it away with the car...
i spent a good portion of the day replacing my old rusty stock exhaust with a new Y pipe and muffler eliminators and was more than pleased with the rumble thye generate..... but
i took it out for a ride and while sitting at a red light i hear a rattle.. so i pop it in n to give it some gas...
what is the acceptable oild and coolant temp at normal operating.... tonight while watching some racoons with my co-pilot for about 15 - 20 minutes the coolant temp shot up to about 250+ and the light came on.... within seconds of moving again the temp went back down to where the light went off...
i am about to order a new y pipe and muffler eliminators for my 84 here and was just wondering if anyone has had any problems with fitting.. did you have to do any cutting or bending to make things fit?

aside from the fact they wont shut off as fast as i like them to i have a different problem with my wipers i was wondering if anyone else has... every now and then they catch each other on the downward stroke and im waiting for one of them to break off and really become a pain right in the ass...

simple problem im sure but thought i may as well ask... today when i turned my wipers on to wash away a fine mist of rain they came on and wouldnt turn off for a good 5 minutes... very aggravating
i was always wondering what cars all had the crossfire in it during its short run.. i know the vette the camaro and firebird did but did anything else have it.. and what was the number produced during that time frame
