I have a vacuum line that comes off the AIR system (below the ASR cover) and heads toward the back of the alternator. It is a hard plastic hose and the end looks broken, but I don't see anything it would attach to. Does anyone know where it should attach?
Here is where it connects to the AIR...
How does the oil change monitor work? Does it measure mileage or something in the oil? The FSM doesn't say how it works, and searching the forums here I found several different answers.
Not sure if this will help, but my passenger seat buzzes when I try to move it forward or back, however I noticed that if I raise the seat as high as it will go it will then move forward or back.
The prevoius owner had a bunch of crap stuffed under the seat and I think it knocked the motor...
Question for those who have done this fix, how worn was the plastic gear? My passenger side motor is making noise and I am wondering if I should get another gear in addition to the bushings. Is the bronze gear worth the extra money?
Thanks everyone. I will try to find the '95/'96 arms. I was at the gas station when I decided to change the blades. I didn't even think to keep the old ones just in case.
A while ago I replaced the wiper blades with Anco blades (the entire blade, not just the inserts). Shortly afterward I noticed that the hood was catching the top of the arm when I turned the wipers on or off. I tried adjusting the hood but it is at the end of the adjustment range and still...
After doing the plugs, wires and water pump a week ago (and not doing the opti) I decided that if the Opti does go out I am selling the car and getting a C6. :D
I don't want to do it again. :W
I just replaced the plugs and wires, along with a water pump, this past weekend. I used NGK TR55 plugs ($14 from Autozone) and Taylor SpiroPro wires ($78 from O'reilly's Auto Parts). I really don't know how the wires can be replaced without removing the water pump, at least on the drivers side...
I just changed the plugs and wires, along with the water pump, this past weekend. The wires were definately the hardest part. I don't know how they can be changed without removing the water pump. Even with the water pump out I couldn't get my hands in there. Luckily my friend has smaller hands...
Thanks RVN and XLR8.
My issue is that I don't always have time to read the whole board. Sometimes I just want to check the C4 section real quick, then come back later to read the rest when I have more time. Unfortunately I lose the posts I was not able to read the first time. I also can not...
How are cookies set up to work on this site? When I log out and log back in, all previously unread posts are marked as read, and only new posts since I logged out are shown as unread. Is there a way to set it where all posts stay unread until I actually read them?
I have also noticed that when...
The interior door lock switches are working, but they aren't able to move the locks. They are hard to move manually, also. Is that something that can be lubricated or do the lock motors need to be replaced?
