You may aslo want to check out the Piston Heads web site in the UK. They have a Corvette section.

I believe that the Museum still has them, but someone mentioned that GM did not want them released yet due to potential law suits. Ford was sued over the HP ratings on the Cobra, so maybe GM is worried that someone would sue them if their 375 HP LT5 was not as strong as someone else's 375 LT5.
Do you know why the three-valve head did not make production? Was it technical, or simply because it was not needed because they achieved the power they wanted through two valves?
Thanks,
Ken
Hi,
A while back I started a thread looking for a copy of a 1984 Corvette magazine. I eventually found one on eBay in June. I noticed there is another copy for sale on eBay, so I thought I would mention it here since other people were interested in getting a copy.
Here is the eBay link...
Hi,
I did finally get the car through the TUV and AU. I did not need to add a rear fog light, but I did have to pay extra for the non-stock exhaust.
I have only been averaging 3000 to 4000 km per season, so the mileage now sits at 40,000km. We just drove it down to the Monaco historic races...
That will teach me to throw out car magazines. You never know when you may own a car that was featured in one of the magazines. I guess the difficult search makes the magazine more interesting once I get it.
Almost had a copy.
I found a copy listed through an Amazon affiliate, so I bought it online. They billed the card, but then they checked their inventory, and ... no copies! Does anyone ever have accurate computer inventories.
This book is proving to be quite elusive! The hunt continues.
Hi,
I was on the www.pistonheads.com corvette forum, and someone posted a note about 1991 ZR-1 owners kits being available from the museum.
I ordered mine today:

Hi,
Someone in the past mentioned that they use '00' steel wool and Mother Mag & Aluminum polish.
I found a site with a chart listing the various grades, and their uses. It says '00' can be used to polish aluminum. I have not yet tried this on my engine...
Hi 67HEAVEN,
I am not sure if this has been asked before, but have you considered writting a book on your '67 and its current transformation. Cars & Parts did a book on a '63 split window restoration, and there was one on a '67 roadster restoration (Sherman?).
I think a book about your...
Thanks for checking. I guess it might not have an ISBN since it is a magazine. At least now I have the correct title. Not to be a pain, but would it be possible for you to scan the front cover? If not, do not worry about it. They have an "Old Timers" car show in Munich each year, and...
Hi,
Yes, I could be mistaken about the publisher. I bought the magazine in 1983, and I recall that the complete magazine was dedicated to the 1984 Corvette. It was all on glossy paper, and it was sectioned into chapters. They had one on the body, another on the engine, etc. I would guess...
Wow, you have a 7 litre engine. In Germany I pay per 100cm for my 5.7L ZR-1, so I would guess that your 7L engine is a few Euros for the annual road tax!
I believe that in 1983, Road & Track published a magazine detailing the 1984 corvette. This magazine was just about the vette, and each chapter was about a certain aspect of the car.
Does anyone remeber the name and/or ISBN number? I had a copy once, but it was lost in one of my moves.
Thanks
The 1991 ZR-1 I just purchased was originally ordered, and purchased, at a Belgium Opel dealer. When I look at the codes for the car, it shows EXP (Export), but it does not have the MAE (Market area Europe) code. It also has the GM3 (Rear Axle, 3.45 Ratio) code, and the V73 (Vehicle Statement...
Well I took the "plunge", and I purchased my fist corvette. It is a red 1991 ZR-1, with 31,000km (19,000 miles) My wife and I drove up to take a look at it this weekend. It was a long drive, 1,700km round trip, but it was well worth the drive. I bought the car from the original owner, and he...
