:beer The E-Brake on my 96 will on occasion refuse to release. After three of four tries it finally will. But seems to be getting worse. Has anyone else had this problem??? And if so what would be the cure???? Thanks

Go to aipelectronics.com and check out their site. I bought an Optispark from them to just have a spare. The quality looks good and the price was $129.00. Read what they have to say about their product. It sounded good to me.

The indicator light/lights on my electronic control light up sometimes and sometimes not. Also the night panel lights do the same on this unit. All functions other than that work fine. This is on my 96 LT1 coupe. Has anyone else had the same issue???? Thanks !!!!!!!!:beer

Thanks for the reply. I have checked the door switches and they are good. The problem is somewhere in the PKE.

The interior lights on my 96 coupe will not come on every time the doors unlock with the Passive Keyless Entry System (PKE). Also when you open a door the lights likewise do not come on every time. They will come on however in about 30 seconds or so. Lights work when you manually turn them...

Has anyone replaced their stock Opti-Spark with a Accel Opti-Spark Distributor Unit??? If so, how do you like it??????? It seems to be priced a lot less than its competitor MSD. Thanks for any info you can give!!!!!!:bash
