    Barrett-Jackson Spreadsheet

Thanks for the feedback! I thought the 'steal' of the auction was Lot# 790... THIS CAR WAS OWNED BY A BLOOMINGTON GOLD JUDGE. NUMBERS MATCHING, FACTORY SIDE EXHAUST. Only 9% of the 1965 Corvette's were 396's. Chevrolet didn't produce them until late in the model year, around March 1965. THis...

    Barrett-Jackson Spreadsheet

Thanks to 67HEAVEN for hosting this Excel spreadsheet! OK, I had a slow day at work... I complied all of the C1-C2's and a couple of C3's. The spreadsheet is broken down by Lot#, Year and Price. Body Style: C = Coupe, V = Convertible Some of the higher $$$ cars have some explaination...

    Avatars

We might need a contest to see who's car shows up in the most avatars. It looks like Midyear has the lead... That yellow big-block '67 shows up darn near everywhere... :bu

Hate the game, don't hate the play-ah! Besides, we're draggin' this monster to FL behind a Suburban. No triple-digit speeding tickets on this trip...

    1967 427 3/2 JD Questions

Vader, I have the same roller-cam mod in my '66 L36 that Midyear described except I used the stock pistons. I have around 10.5:1 and it runs on 92-93 octane with out a problem. I would also recommend changing over to hardened seats and SS valves to insure happiness in the land of unleaded pump...

We'll be there, Thursday evening, Dennis, Larry and myself. Wave, if you see three midyears on I-81 Thursday headed north! :w

    66 coupe sometimes too hot

Sounds like the drain petcock?? If it's leaking/steaming from there, go have it checked at a radiator shop.

    66 coupe sometimes too hot

Expansion tank? Does this car have a small block radiator? That might be some of the problem. Another tip: Use the fan from a '70 A/C car (7 blades with aggresive pitch) along with a heavy-duty fan clutch form Pep-Boys, et al.

Carlisle's next month, where will you park?

We'll be there, Dennis (MIDYEAR), Larry (his Dad) and myself, parked at the 63-7 Registry hosted by Dennis and Cindy M. Still a mystery what Midyear Dennis will drive up this year... Lookin' forward to seeing all of you there!

    Hotel rooms at Carlisle?

Yeah, most have already booked their hotel. Keep trying. Use online services like travelocity or hotels.com to look for something close. South of Carlisle on I-81 is not bad, neither is east and west on the turnpike. We've had friends that booked one night in Carlisle and then called around...

It sure is, Larry! Man, what a puddle I had... :cry Hey, 67HEAVEN, I hope your windshield keeps out more than just wind... Not sure what Dennis is going to bring this year. He's been working hard and heavy on a '64 coupe of his... He's been teasing that he's bringing it. Hope to see...

    '66 427 original sticker

Ah, the classic question. This is both the mystique and the bain of Corvette ownership. You can't tell anything from the VIN. Chevrolet "claims" (conspiracy theorists, please chime in...) that there is no paperwork that links a VIN with the options the car was built with. Later, in 1967...

Fourth of July It's not often that my wife lets me have both toys in the garage. 4th of July was one of those rare exceptions.
