Today I went to the Chicago Auto Show. Spent a couple of hours at the Chevy exhibit.
First, to view the C7 in person. Took a few pictures.
Then, spent a lot of time listening to the people with their impressions of the Vette.
Most of the people viewing the Vette were...
I spoke with my good buddy, gmjunkie, this morning. Mother had another stroke. He was on the way out the door to see her in the midwest.
Please keep the "Junkman" and his Ma in your thoughts and prayers.

I was on my way home Friday night from watching some baseball action in the afternoon. At about 7pm I was stopped at a stoplight about 15 minutes from my home.
A lady in a 2001 Lexus LX300 decided to use the rear of my Corvette to stop her vehicle. I guess her brakes were not working or maybe...
After months of diligently posting (SAVE THE :w!) and waving at every cotton picking gosh darn Vette I passed on the road, I have the following announcement to make to ALL my friends here at the CAC.
Two days ago, two (2) C6s WAVED to me. In the past, I did not really get any reactions from...

On the way home from the CruiseFest which wasn't a CruiseFest I was involved in a major kill while on northbound I-65 just north of Bowling Green.
A little ahead of me was a brand spanking (pun intended ;LOL) new black Shelby Mustang. Then a new black ZR1 joined our little caravan. The Shelby...
Hi, I am using Firefox and the NoScript program.
Everything was working just fine.
Until today.
I can load the Forums page. If I try to load the home page by clicking on the Home icon at the top, I cannot load the page.
This just started happening today.

I am not a new member, but I thought this would be the place to make this announcement.
My username has been officially changed from lt4man to "LT4man"!
This was done to make sure there was no mistaking the spelling. Depending on the font being used, some thought my name was it4man...
I have been hearing a wind noise from the passenger window. I checked the tightness of the glass against the weatherstripping with a piece of paper. No leaks there.
While driving the other day, I put my finger under the roof panel and pushed up. The panel pushed up! Appears the glue is...
I have to replace my intake manifold gaskets. A little seepage at the rear.
While I have my intake off, I was thinking of doing what Jim Mason (Grand Sport fame) has done. The idea is this could be beneficial to a slightly modded LT4...

I sent an email to a CAC vendor on May 18, 2006. Today is May 23 and in less than an hour it will be May 24.
How long is long enough to hear back from a vendor?
I gave them my email address and my cell phone number.
I only have one issue with them. Of course, the issue is a very important...
I have 85,000 miles on my 96 CE Coupe LT4 w/ RTD suspension. One of my front upper control arm bushings finally deteriorated. GM no longer makes OEM bushings and I did not find any OEM bushings in the aftermarket. So, I investigated the poly bushings which are available.
Settled on Vette...
