1962 Corvette Restomod

Thanks for the positive comments. :w

You can see in the photos that I have eliminated the center speaker and defrost outlets.
I think it gives a cleaner look.

Windshield assembly

67, beautiful job, and a joy to watch, thanks for the great photos, it makes me want to try and achieve just a part of what you have done.
My question is did you remove the winshield or did the shop do it, I would like to take mine out and have it redone for the rubber gaskets, and redo the dash.
I love the seats, ball park if you don't mind sharing the cost of adapting the new seats?
thanks.
Rocky from Orlando
1961 Corvette owner.

I did not assist in removing the windshield from the car. :w

All the glass was replaced when the car was Restomoded in 2003. From what I have seen and read, it is quite a job.
Getting the seal in correctly is a chore and putting the trim back on isn't fun either.

JNG Creations does not do just seats or just dash pads. They do the entire package so it would not be possible to break down each task.

Roger,
She is looking darn nice! Those seats look real comfy....I might be tempted to do an upgrade myself! Going to Preston Medical this Saturday? You are welcome to ride along if your ride is not done yet.....FR///

Fred, Corvette won't be done for another couple of weeks. :w

I will stop by Preston to support the Carolinas Chapter Solid Axle Corvette Club. Information should be on the Website.

Photos show seat bottom pattern. Leather is not attached to the seat yet so that is why it does not look tight.
But, like the dash it will be.
The seat back will carry the same theme.

Wow, what a great eye for detail, they are very professional in their work and fast, I know you can't wait till its finished.
Its a project to be proud of, and hope to see it one day in person.
I am motivated to update my car, now if I can just win the lottery, sigh...

Thanks for sharing.
Rocky

That is beautiful work!
That is a one of the best refits, that I have been able to follow, thanks again for sharing.
Hopefully one day I will be able to see that car in person.
I had a couple of guys give me their "professional" opinion on my ride the last time I was home outside a restraunt where I had parked for lunch.
Their critque was on my choice of tires and wheels, "why change" keep the white walls and hub caps. I just listened, no reply, just cranked it up and drove off.
I guess eveyone has their opinons, I just love to drive and enjoy mine.

Rocky

Thanks for the kind words Rocky. :w The foremost thing you need to do with your car is ---- what makes you happy.

Jean-Noel is still working on installing carpet and other small details in the seating area.
He is working on the convert top storage area and then on to the trunk.

Roger

Interior is almost complete.

I finally was able to get the Alpine AM FM NAV and IPOD to work. The power antenna and rear camera also work.
