When you say "power greatly increased over stock"...a stock LT1 produces 300-hp. Can I expect 350-hp from this item?

Who makes this chip ? And what documentation comes with it ?

I burn the chip. I have been tuning these cars for years. I have probably tuned about 300 of these cars.

Seems strange to me that you have been burning these chips for years and have never acquired any dyno data to back up your claim. What the heck is a green adapter board?

Can you tell us exactly what we can expect to see/gain with he use of this chip ?

The gains on a stock vehicle are comparable to adding headers to the car along with better drivability and acceleration. On a car that already has mods, I can custom tune this chip further to work with those mods thus enhancing performance even more.

That you are trying to convince us that a calibration change on the stock engine will produce results equal to the same engine with headers is laughable without any evidence to support the claims.

You say you've never done any dyno testing, so how do you know a stock engine with your cal produces the same performance increase as adding headers and no cal change.

Lacking test data and that you've never had it, your claims lack credibiilty.

I suggest to those CAC members reading this thread that they avoid this product until the vendor can substantiate his/her claims with some credible testing.

I am very interested in thus product but as mentioned above , I do need some proof and some hard data/evidence that this does what you claim and that it I safe to use in our cars . I think even you would have to agree that nobody would want to take a chance on an unproven product nor do I think you would trust a stranger with an item such as this on your Vette . It should be easy to get all of us the hard proof we desire and I think if you were able to convince and assure everyone your sales of this item would increase dramatically !!

Hib, you are no one and you know very little. I have been modifying these cars a loooong time. If you dont want to buy it, then take your bigot self elsewhere. No one needs your input on here. For the record, these cars were tuned for ECONOMY! That is another reason to get a new chip burned.

I suggest any CAC member to not take this bigot's advice. He has know clue of what he is talking about. Hib, if you continue on with your comments I will have you banned for harassment.

How much are these chips ? Any kind of warranty ?

They are $50 shipped, I offer a re-burn if your not satisfied. I have made and sold over 400 of these for TPI, TBI and early LT1 cars. I know exactly what I am doing! and yes, I offer this service because brands like Hypertech and JET , and all of those aftermarket garbage companies really rip people off!
