I agree the remarks by Hib were not bigoted, he simply stated his feelings on your product. Then you came back with a nasty uncalled for remark. It is beyond belief that you have sold hundreds of these chips and have never invested a few dollars in dyno runs to prove your products. I had planned to purchase one of your chips until I found out that you also have to purchase a $35.00 adapter for it and after realizing that the only claim to fame is your personnel opinion. AT the least 1/4 mile drag strip before and after information. I do not see a bunch of people jumping in here to praise your chips.

FYI, this Hib, has made several nasty comments to me in the past regarding my product . If it didn't do what I claim then obviously I wouldn't feel so strong about it and defend it. I am sick and tired of people like himself and his negative comments. I am not out to rip anyone off over $50!

One of the first rules of marketing is to prove with some sort of documentation that your product actually does what is claimed. I am not new to performance tuning and have seen products that seem to work by seat of pants method but actually only enhance on small part of the power curve and had worse 1/4 mile performance. A before and after dyno readout would prove your claims and greatly enhance sales and reputation. Perhaps you have done this and discovered that the gains were only at a certain rpm range and not throughout the engines rpm range. Send me a free chip and adapter board for my 1992 automatic Lt-1 and I will test it at the drag strip and share the before ad after results with you. I am a seasoned drag racer so the results will be viable. Or send a chip, adapter and $250.00 and I will have it tested on a reliable dyno. I promise this will be my last comment on the subject.

I may be willing to send you a prom chip for testing , but I wont send $250. and You would have to provide the adapter board though.

So you want me to spend $35.00 for the adapter board, 160 miles round trip gas to drag strip and $25.00 for test and tune. Or I pay for the adapter and dyno time. NO THANKS. This is all your job, why should I pay to do your testing?

Bottom line if you don't want the chip don't buy one but I don't believe he is trying to screw anyone . there are a lot of people out there custom burning there own chips for decades . this is nothing new . and hypertech and others really screw people with there prices and chips that don't offer all that much above stock

I will be watching this thread to see the outcome. It is just very unusual for someone selling a performance product untested. Seat of the pants can be deceptive, you may think it is making more power when in fact it has just become louder. Waiting to see the outcome.

Hib, you are no one and you know very little. I have been modifying these cars a loooong time. If you dont want to buy it, then take your bigot self elsewhere. No one needs your input on here. For the record, these cars were tuned for ECONOMY! That is another reason to get a new chip burned.

I have two issues with this:

1. If you don't have documentation to show numbers - you're chip is BS.

2. You're obviously in business and selling these chips - therefore you're advertising here. I don't recall hearing from you requesting information on how to become a Supporting Vendor. We have companies that pay to advertise legitimate products here. That money, helps to support the operational costs of running this site.

I am not here - to let every Tom, Dick and Harry advertise their snake elixir for free on this site. Therefore, you have a choice: contact me inquiring about advertising costs on this site - and then provide official documentation showing the power gains of your chip equivalent to installing a set of headers, or move on to another site for free advertising.
