On my 1995 Corvette LT1, it has 144,000 miles. Can someone tell me if there is a bulb that needs to be replaced in order to make the digital readout brighter and more readable,,,its pretty dim. When I turn on
the lights for a split second it gets a little brighter but then dims down
again. I've been calling around and seems everyone has a different answer to the tune of over $200. Anyone know for certain? Thanks :w

The light sensor on top the dash lets the display know if it's dark or light outside and adjusts the display acordingly. Is it covered by a dash pad or "stuff"?

Agreed.

You need to check out that sensor. You may even need to troubleshoot the IP lighting per the FSM.

Put an old toothbrush to the photosensor. If that doesn't help, you might have grounds with corrosion.
