I'm pretty sure it wasn't Perry! :D

The Very Best of Perry Como

Anthony, Jeff, Daryll, Billy, and Pete Thanks for your support and well wishes.

Yes Bubba Claus was pretty good to me. I've gotta say thanks to my GF Toni for taking me over to pick up the car. We had a pretty nice ride back playing switch the lead.

This car only has 51000 miles so I don't know that I will be doing much to it right now. The interior is immaculate and everything works great.

My boss saw me in the hallway today and said "Keep smiling Gerald." I had to explain the perma-grin.:D

Gerald, that's wonderful news.

Dwayne just gave me an idea for a Dr. Fever request at CF '06.
See you then :upthumbs

I thought it was Gene Autry?

Oh yeah, different song, same title.
Aerosmith is better. I saw them on that tour.
Keep on rockin Gerald!:_rock

Gerald, glad that you acquired a new one already. Hopefully you got a decent check from the insurance on the old one, to make buying the LT4 a little less painful.:D

Hrtbeat1, with Bob's knowledge on the C4 & Vettes in general I bet you got one helluva well maintained car that has been gone through w/ a fine-tooth comb. Judging by your last car, I can only imagine what you have up your sleeve for this one.

Enjoy! :D

Jeff

:) knowledge yes, but no time:( I am sure hrtbeat will fix the handful of minor items that need fixing. She runs like mad though, and ASR is the only thing that keeps it between the lines! (BTW: to disable it, just press the button above the headlight switch!)

We met in Panama City Beach to make the transaction, and even from the 12th floor with the windows shut I could hear the distinctive sound of my Corvette start up and drive off... I know she's in good hands though :lou

I can say Sunday was a day for the Z's. Gerald spent all day wiping and cleaning his car. I did some minor detail work, cleaning the crevices. He has had the perma-grin for sure and I know he will have all kinds of new toys delivered while his is at sea. I hope to have a nice carport/garage area completed upon his return in May so we can spend time together upgrading and maintaining the cars. I'll be towing mine to Zdayz in May but I know he will want to drive his to Cruise Fest and I'll be right there with him.

I'm glad you found another Corvette before you left. Now you have two girls to come home too, and a Roon. Have a safe trip and know that she's in good hands while you are gone.

Congrats. Good choice on the LT4, and beautiful color combo too!

OOOO... Gerald! Congratulations!
Very nice find. I've never had the pleasure of experiencing anything other than an L-98 in a C4. You did very well- take care of that beast!

-Patrick

Thanks guys I'm loving every minute of it. I went today and paid the taxes and applied for my tags for the new machine. My first choice was available so I got it, hows this for a tag .... Z15 .... I think its pretty good. It would take a Corvette enthusiast to realize the meaning.

Patrick the LT4 is everything the L98 was plus a whole lot more. This thing likes to rev and the power it puts out .... WOW! If you liked the L98 then you would love the LT4.

Vettelt193 yes I found the switch for the ASR, shortly after I posted about turning it off. Funny how they hide things like that right out in the open. I guess I didn't notice it because my old Vette didn't have ASR so I wasn't really paying attention to the switches. Something so similar can be so different.

Hey congrats! She looks sweet, one nice ride. Best of Luck.

Things sure do change alot around here. I am gone for a few days, and gerald goes and gets a new vette, and a nice one I must say. I really cannot think of anyone else more deserving of a vette than yourself. Are you still going out to sea gerald? If so, why dont you have it shipped up here and I can keep it running for you. hehe

Craig,

Thanks for the kind words, and the offer, but I think my GF is gonna keep good care of it.:upthumbs When I didn't see you post I figured you were out of town or something. Yes Im going out to sea ... leave in the morning ... gonna be gone for some time. Get back just in time for Cruisefest. If you are coming bring that stuff and we can see what we can do while we are there. If you get your scans done you can email them to me, I'll give you the addy once I get out there. Things are changing a bit so I'm not exactally sure which addy is current.

Well the GF and I were going to take care of some things before I leave and I looked at the mileage. While we were out in town I passed the 1010 miles since I bought the car. Still learning the little ins and outs but loving every minute.

GS977 thanks your right its definately a keeper, and I do love it more each time I drive it. Hey are you still laying down paint? This one could use some touch up on the front fender, nothing much just the normal little chips and what not from driving. Plus my GF is in need of someone that can spray a rear bumper, some sort of three stage pearl Ultra Yellow for a Nissan 350Z.
