We are going and will be staying with a friend that is renting a house (she sells the t-shirts at all the Carlisle events) from Carlise. The house is right at the entrance to gate 2 on the right hand corner of the street. We will be there with my gals car this year, the red convertible with tan top...C5....I know it isn't the C1 or the C2....but I know this one will make the trip.....so how can we meet up with some of you????

I hope to meet all that go and see your cars....let me know...regards, Herb

I'll be there with my 64 at the 63-67 Registry. Wife will be towing our small camper. We'll be staying at a local campground about 5 miles from the fairgrounds.

Hello..Will be going to Carlisle..staying at the appalachian trail inn. 3 miles from the fairgrounds...Car will be part of chips choice display inside building T. stop by and say "hello"...

Remo and I have had the official unofficial CAC meeting place for the last 2 years. It's been a come-and-go, stay-and-rest as you please sort of thing. No special times, but you will find someone there much of the time at our blue tent. Rowdy, Nut, C4C5Specialist, 81KIX, Rob, GSDiva & Hubby, RoadsterFan & Tammy, Bill & Gail, Bob Chadwick just to name a few who hang out with us off and on.

We are always located in the NCRS member area on the other side of the NCRS yellow & white tent near Gate 3:

Look for the 2 silver cars and blue tent circled in red:

We stay and hang out at night at the Holiday Inn, Mechanicsburg bar Legends:

Keep an eye on the NORTHEAST section on the :CAC for most updates. GSDiva collects/distrubutes cell phone numbers for anyone who wants to meet up with us.

Remo will start posting weather reports 10 days out (HOT will cover all 10 days) and I have the back way into the fairground on my web site:

Guy - See you all there!

Meg and I plan to attend. I have registered for the NCCC Concours, and plan to show my newly restored 63 Coupe, you that one you guys have been following for the past three years on this forum, in that area. Already registered and ready to go...staying at the old Claridon Hotel, think they recently changed there name....using I stay out at the Radison, Camp Hill, but with the trailer I wanted to stay closer.

Speaking of Carlisle a funny thing happened to me on Sunday, I live in a small town, in the middle of nowhere, and I ran into another car that was parked in the 63-67 registry last year here, Driven by John, can't remember the last name, anyone remember the Yellow '67 that came in last year that was real dirty?

Corvettes at Carlisle

My wife and I will be there. We are attending the SACC National Convention on the 23, 24, and 25 AM in Harrisburg and staying at the Harrisburg Wyndham Hotel. We will be moving to the Travel Inn in New Cumberland where members from the Rochester NY Corvette club will be staying. I am looking forward to meeting as many CAC members and viewing their beautiful cars as possible. It would be nice if we could pick one location and time for CAC member to assemble or if Heaven could fire up that big block at noon I am sure we could all find that location.

My wife and I will be there. Staying at the Radisson in Camp Hill. Baby will be parked on the field in the '63-'67 Registry area. .............and no jokes because Baby WILL be out of the paintshop by than. :D

Hi! Barry

I lost the out of the shop date contest so I guess there is no ride for Ray!

Can't wait to see your 65!

Ray

;LOL Ray
that's ok. stop by and see Baby anyway.

Actually, as for anyone getting rides, Baby will be parked on the field the entire time including at night. I figure she is safer in the locked and guarded fairgrounds at night rather than the hotel parking lot. My wife is following me there in her car so we will have it to go back and forth in the mornings and evenings.
Of course, I suppose if you wanted a quick lap around the field I could manage that...... but than again you have had many, many more Vettes and nicer ones than I have (Baby is my first) so I can't imagine how exciting any ride in her would be for you. I'm sure i'll have a lot to be embarrassed about with Baby compared to your cars that you have restored.

Now for exciting rides, I think we need to come up with a contest to see who wins rides in 67Heaven! :beer

LADY will be in the 63-67 Registry same as last year - staying at Holiday Inn (I think, reservation at home) in Harrisburg - $60.00 a nite!

As for me

For my first three days in Carlisle ( Tues, Wed Thur ) ,I will be staying at the Ramada Inn Carlisle, then from Friday to Sunday, anyone interested in saying hello, can do so at my vender spaces on I Row from 101 to 103, directly across from Al Knoch's Interiors.

I will have my " Club Car " on hand, so if any Forum members need to have some heavy hauling done, ( engines excluded ) I can always find time for you. You may also stop by any time during the evenings, for a cold " Canadian " ( read that as being moose pee ) however the quantities will be limited.

I will see to it that my user name " Stepinwolf " is posted so that members can ID me, and when ever possible, I would recommend other Forum members do the same. ;)

Hi Step
since you are right across from Al Knoch's booth, if you happen to see some poor schmuck lugging some '65 black leather seats on Fri that would probably be me for my appointment with Al. :D

Shearton Four Points-Harrisburg around $120.00 a night (has a bar!). This will be my wife's first time. We will probably just go together in her '94 comp yellow coupe we just bought last week and leave the LT-4 at home because I am worried about leaving it anywhere overnight. Is it worth it to bring both of them and get the LT-4 judged?? I have only entered my LT-4 in two shows in which I was excited to get the car looked at closely and evaluated. As expected, the shows ended up being more political then about honest judging. What is the judging like and do you have to be there all three days?? What kind of awards???

Thanks!

CP
