Hi to the CAC community. I joined the CAC forum some time ago, but never became very active as a poster or lurker...having received a recent email update from CAC, I decided that I should take look around the website and I must say - I'm impressed! I expect to spend a little more time here probably spending most of my time n the tech section. I hope my first attempt to post a pic of my 85 works!

Here are a few more shots of my '85. Gotta work on getting nicer backgrounds into some of the pictures. The picture with the snow is where it is currently hibernating til spring.

Welcome/Welcome back,
Nice 85! I almost bought one like it, but I had to go with the 1980 C3:thumb

I'm with you...I always find the 80-82 model years grab my attention - I think it is the subtle morph that is going on as the C3 ends and the C4 begins. Pretty high on my wish/fantasy list of a growing Corvette collection.

:L Good one...Although I have occassional pangs of guilt for leaving it out in the cold, it really doesn't hurt it - but I'd sure not be wanting to sit on the 25 year old leather seats in those temps. It is parked on a vulcanized rubber mat which creates an excellent moisture barrier and is covered up with a cover, blankets and a waterproof tarp - just in case. It's so cool when I throw the battery in it in the spring and it roars to life, like it was only parked there the day before.

I thought the same thing when I first saw that photo! :boogie
