Touring is just fine for me.
When I started this thread, my intent was to gain information to make my decision. All of you have been most helpful and the information was much appreciated. As I previously wrote, I ended up purchasing a used set of Corsa Touring's from e-bay for $200, a great bargain! 2 weeks ago, with the help of one of my son's, we installed the set. It took a bit longer than we expected. You see, we were determined not to cut the stock exhaust, so...not having a lift, we ended up "tipping" the car almost vertical...well, it least it looked that way. Installation was as easy as it could be...we even downloaded the installation pages from their website. What questions I did have were quickly answered by their tech department.
Here's what I've found since installation:
1. Overall gas mileage has gone down. This equates to my foot on the pedal...just love hearing the sound!
2. At idle, it is noticeably louder, with a much more agressive, muscle car idle sound.
3. There is no drone...period!
4. Under WOT you can really hear that difference...but it's not offensive.
5. The Boys in Blue have ignored me, so it can't be that loud as I travel at 65...OK, maybe it's 75/78.
6. Normal conversation and radio play are not affected by the changeover.
7. Wife and I are very happy. (Although I would like to try the Sport/Pace)
