I pulled the dash pads off the cluster is out and restored, the glovebox is out....Now I have a few minor scratches on the center dash. My plan was to prep and mask to paint with corvette America interior dye?? Any advice from the experts on a better or the correct way to do it is appreciated!!

my other ideas:

Clean it best I can and leave it

A dash skin?? (sounds like a pain)

dave, I asked the same questions awhile back and was told the interior paint was the same as the exterior. From the vette-vues fact book, exterior color * requires addition of 2oz. dupont no.4528 flattening compound to a pint of unreduced color to give accuarate color match to factory original. Hope this helps.

Dave, I just noticed that the dupont paint numbers given to the interior colors are differant than the exterior colors. If you can give me the color I can give you the correct number.

They list two blues for 65,both dupont .Medium blue(flat) 9223LM and medium dark blue(flat) 9189LM, both numbers are followed by an asterik which leads you to the statement above about requires addition of 2 oz. and so on. Good luck.
