While hitting a cruising speed above 40 mph, I'm experiencing a vibration in my vet.
If I let up on the gas slightly the vibration goes away.
Any thoughts please.

New tires, balanced, and aligned.
U joints are certainly on the list.
I'm not sure how the vacum advance works on this engine. Any clues please.
Thank you for the advice.

I assume this is on your 82. In which case unless there has been some modifications to the distributor, you don't have vacuum advance. Timing advance is electronic from the ECM.

This is a 1982. My concern is if the ECM is advancing properly. I'm old school from the days of points, condenser, and vacum advance. The ECM is new territory to me.

No mods except new Accel coil on the top of distributor that I know of.
