Reminds me of the old joke...

"Every time I sneeze I have an orgasm."
"Oh. What are you taking for it?"
"Pepper..."

Hey JonM,

My button is broken too. You said 624858 from TLD was the right button? But the picture in the TLD catalog isn't the same as mine. Mine looks like the second picture you posted. Are 84 and 85 buttons actually different and they only show one picture? I know 86 and up are different again and not compatible because I've taken apart my friends steering wheel.

Here is there Toll Free Number 1.888.LAST.DETAIL Berkey...give them a call and be absolutly sure. Then post your results here.

Hi Len,

If you have the time and can find out the difference between the two horn button contacts shown in the pictures at the beginning of this thread, that is really my question.

I have the number for TLD and may call them tomorrow if I have the time.

Thanks,
Berky

got it

berky2500, i got my piece in the mail today. it is the exact piece i needed. looks just like the old broken one, not like the one pictured on the website.

Hey Matt, so it looks like the broken pieces in JonM's post on page 1 of this thread? If so, that is great, I was really not looking forward to buying the entire button for $100 or so.

Thanks for the update.

I installed the gold emblem on the horn cap.....totally broke the pieces that make the horn work.....is this what you are talking about?????
If so....How do I fix???

Yes, there are two parts to the horn button. The outer part you push, and the inner part that electrically connects the horn to the column, what I think you broke.

The part for the inside from The Last Detail should be 624858, link is below, cost is $18, I haven't ordered mine yet, it is holding on with super glue for the time being. As soon as it breaks again, I'll be getting a new one.
