Damn, Surf is quick:D

I just wanted to get it started...our book writer has already out bid me :L

Last time I got into a bidding war, I wound up paying alot more than I wanted.
I'm sure the wheel will someday be worth it thought.

Did anyone else notice that the wheel lip appears to be polished rather than painted? I don't think I've seen that on a Dymag before. Polishing magnesium is not easy.

I noticed that. Wonder if it's a result of some curb rash. The side edge of the lip does not appear to be as rounded as the ones that left the factory.

except for centerpiece

mine and all others ive seen are exact same silver all around
no different shades and thats not the camera

Magnesium polishes up nicely...but it oxidizes so fast that keeping it polished is no easy task. I do like the look of the polished lip tho....

Looks to me like it's been machined then polished, the flat surface of the lip is way off spec. and it needs a complete refinish.

The unfortunate thing is that even after a refinish the contour of the wheel lip will be off from another Dymag. That makes it a poor replacement for a damaged one in an existing set. Unless the other three were machined to match.

I am out....I bid $550, no more

I would love to buy it, but if someone needs it...I would be glad to bow-out. I did not even make the reserve..I wonder what it is..

BTW: I recently interviewed Boris Said III, who drove most of the Callaway race cars, he had some great stories to tell....I look forward to sharing them with all of you someday soon....Thanx again for all of your support..
