The National Corvette Museum is reporting that the 1,000,000th Corvette built was unexpectedly rescued today from the sinkhole that developed a few weeks back.

"Initially there was no intention to bring the Millionth out, but as we got in there and saw more this morning we did feel like this might be our best chance," said Danny Daniel, President of Scott, Murphy and Daniel Construction.

Gm has said it is repairable so we will see how that goes. You know somebody from CAC should go to the museum when they display all the sinkhole Vettes.

I'll be there at the end of April for the Bash... I bet they'll be on display...
