As detailed in another thread, I recently picked up a bone-stock 2003 Anniversary edition Roadster. I'm in the process of "making it mine." I'm halfway through the first phase. Just for fun I'll add to this thread every day I waste money on mods - er, personalize the car.

Feel free to tell me how the mods suck or what you would add or subtract.

This could be fun - or not so much.:L

Yesterday I installed a set of GHL polished stainless bullet catbacks.:happyanim:

Today was easy - a pair of high intensity LED backup lights. Cuz there is a brick wall behind my garage door where I back out.;shrug

Also a full set of stainless body panel screws under the hood, door and rear hatch. I just like the way they look, AND they add lots of power and gas mileage.:lou

Here's Some Inspiration

catbert-I would not get too crazy-with this vette- they are nice and special on their own,but the mods you did so far are tasteful.:beer

Pictures and/or sound clips would be nice! :D

Pics when something is non-stock looking. So far, only GHL quad tips look non-factory. The next mod will warrant pictures...any day now.:ugh

Today I installed a Mid America 50th Anniversary console lid pad/cover. What THAT a PITA!!!

Waiting for UPS and USPS.:z

Next Mod

It must be a C5 thing with the ss screws. I put them on my 02 Coupe two years ago and immediately noticed the same effect that you experienced. Never thought that this minor mod would do so much.

If you could have waited until CF in Effingham, MAMW people would have installed the console lid cover for you like they did for your Z06 last year. And, you could have avoided shipping costs. But now you must show off the car at CF this year.

Today a trunk partition.:chuckle

Finished buying for awhile. Finally installed the carbon fiber bridge and Batwing. Also replaced the footwell lamps, backup lamps and underhood lamps with LCDs. They are a nice touch, and big lighting improvement

Getting Better All The Time.

Rich......nice touches, I sure wish you could get to Carlisle so we could view your terrific ride.:)

Pretty much done, except for wheels. This angle shows air intake screens. blank grills behind the screens are now real air intakes for the Blackwing.

Wish I was going to Carlisle. Brothers Remo and Guy will pretty much be getting a free pass with only Bill watching them.:rotfl
