No, school has started and I am just swamped! Plus I got this big job with my business that is just keeping me too busy..... Wish WE were in the 60's - heck I think the high today was 102!!C3RVETTE said:So,Dawn, did you find the problem? I'm curious because after I recover from all my latest engine & suspension mods,I'm going to look a little harder to find my clunk. Man,what a difference a couple weeks makes in the weather around here.We went from dry 80's-90's to wet 60's already!
Well,at least you are busy! Things are pretty quiet around here rite now. You live in AZ,so I guess I should expect warm weather there, but 102*!:eek Whats the big job,if I can be so nosy? Or do I have to reactivate my Top Secret Clearance?chevyaddict said:No, school has started and I am just swamped! Plus I got this big job with my business that is just keeping me too busy..... Boy, everybody is asking that question! That has been part of the delay aside from also securing the patents before it goes to market. The cool thing is it is software, so the cost of goods sold is like nill..... hee hee hee.C3RVETTE said:Sounds great! What do I need to do to get in on this?
Thats cool. But I think when you're rich & retired, you'll still be the one turning the wrenches on your Chevys, not your "staff"...am I right? :cool Hey,fly up here to Washington State,& I'll give you a tour of the San Juan Islands!(I live on Fidalgo Island)chevyaddict said:Boy, everybody is asking that question! Yeah,I havent taken much time out for that either..:eyerolechevyaddict said:THAT'S RIGHT! I'll be turning wrenches until I'm 90! I'm a pretty down to earth person all the way around. Don't think much would change if I was to strike it rich. I'll certainly look you up if I'm in the area! That would be a blast!
Of course, this presumes that I would have some free time for..... what's that called again?...... ummm....... Oh yea, a social life!

I can't imagine that.
3 Corvettes, dull....hardly! More money, more Corvettes, and someday you will have a cabana boy to serve you your wrenches!:L

Yeah,I suppose their stock frames are pretty thin, huh? I always wanted a Triumph TR6,or an MG years ago,but I could never fit in one.I'm 6'3" and size 13's so theres no way.Shoot,if I was an inch taller I probly wouldnt have a Vette, eitherchevyaddict said:I've had that little fiat for a long time! Its so cute. I modified it quite a bit. Did away with the bumpers, put a chrome roll bar in it and spoked wheels. Looks pretty cool! However, the carb is toast and I can't get it to pass emissions anymore. They don't make carbs for it so some day I'm going to build a custom frame, widen the whole body and slam a small block in it!
Hey,Pete,I'll take the 1100!wishuwerehere82 said:I had a buddy that put a 327 in an MGB in shop class. It didn't leave much room for seats, but it sure moved!:cool
I also have a Kawasaki. GPZ 1100, 129HP and 45MPG. I love it, but it's too long for me and makes my wrists hurt after 20 minutes.
I'm enjoying my new C5 now,and there's no time for the other toys.
