Rear end still leans toward passenger side

Well, I took the vette by my mechanic this past Friday to verify my findings. It turns out the bearings and yok are fine. He did some additional measurments and it seems the whole car is leaning on the passenger side. I checked the body mounts and those are all ok. When I replaced the rear mono-spring I had to utilize the existing center mount bushing. It seems this may be my whole problem. I'm now in the process of finding a 80-90 barrameter polyurethane block to make my own bushing. No one has these for sale!

I appreciate all of the comments and suggestions. I'll update when I get the bushing made and installed.

Thanks,
William

Call Sam at Central Corvette 416-247-8388....if anyone has them he will. Don't make it sound like you desperately need the part though. If he senses weakness he will put the boots to you.

Dumb suggestion....maybe but call a local GM dealer. You have no idea how many times I though a part wasn't available through GM and found that it was.

I still think that your car was built with the lean and you're wasting your time chasing it, but it's your car.

BTW- please stay away from the polyurethane boy racer stuff, particularly with body, engine and differential mounts. The orignal GM rubber pieces work perfectly and will last 25 years or longer.

I have a great GM guy.I have been able to buy 98% of my parts directly from GM. For example....I recently asked him if he could find those little plastic plugs that the sides of your console trim screws into.....he called me last week and had found 3 bags mothballed so I bought them all.
