Well after a very long winter up here in New England I'm happy to say that the Vette is out and traveling again. Drove out to eastern NY on the Taconic Parkway through the Hudson Valley with another Corvette couple. Stayed in the town of Rhinebeck for a couple of days - beautiful country. Will be going to Corvettes @ Carlisle in August - always fun. In October we'll take several tours of the New England mountain regions during the fall foilage period.

It's great to be back on the road,

On the left coast, we never stopped traveling with the Vette. Year round.....:D:beer:lou:w:drool:
Ron,

I lived in California for many years. Spent most of my time in Santa Cruz (good surfing area). As I recall your town can get pretty hot during the summer so a drive over to the bay area is probably nice every now and then. And yes I remember how it was to to drive a Corvette everyday of the year.

Steve,

Never mind Georgia - here's what I'd really like to do. Get Guy and Dawn (that other Corvette couple) plus Paula and I on aroad trip - destination - Florida Pan Handle. Drive down through the Appalachians - skip Georgia and take 65 out of Birmingham then 29 right into P-Cola. Then we could call up the Georgia gang and tell then to get on down to your place. How's that sound?

Sounds EXCELLENT !

Especially because as I am typing this, I am looking out my living room window, across my front yard, at HWY 29 ! Yep, my driveway, yard and house, all right on HWY 29 ! we could get a block of rooms for all you folks out on the beach, and have ourselves a very "Beachin' " good time ! Let's try to make this happen !

Hey Remo, can you New England guys face South and give big Corvette waves...to send some of that cool air this way. It was 99 degrees with humidity in the high 80s-low 90s here yesterday and man that was brutal. No top off cruising 'til it cools a little.

Remo,

Went to a great Vette weekend last year in Lake George, NY in September. Check it out at:

http://www.adirondackcorvettes.com/index.html I have my reservation in again for this year. It also coincides with the rod & custom gathering that weekend. All in all, it makes for a great weekend.

Gotta get them miles in while you can.

Remo how come you waited so long to take your Vette out? Hasn't snowed for over 2 months. My Vette came out full time in Late March.

Remo,
I'm delighted to hear you're enjoying the summer. Absolutely delighted.

Now, I want you to spend some time taking a few mental snapshots of your summer Corvette activities and filing them away amongst your memories. Why, you ask? Because I plan to remind you next February, when you start whinin- er, expressing "vocal concern"- about the length of Winter that you have these memories to look forward to, and to please stop driving the rest of us batty.

:D
Season's Greetings,
Patrick

But if I didn't drive everyone crazy what else would you moderators have to do
"Bad Remo - now go to your room".

Roger on the heat!! It's brutal here also. But I hope the cooler weather holds out up north, Friday noon we're taking the vette on a road trip up to Vt, NH, and MA for a couple of weeks. Can't wait.

I'm envious! I hope someday to be away from the business for more than a couple of days at time, and the Navigator really wants to do a New England tour. My dream drives are to follow the coast to Key West, and to see the Western national parks.

Have fun!!

Lord no! Do not go to your room! Go to your 'vert and drive it! The last thing any of us here want is to be accused of taking away your two weeks of fair-Massacheusetts weather driving season.

We'll send you to your room this winter. ;LOL
