Texas C6, I have heard from two members now of great deals in and around Houston. Could you give me a contact or at least which dealed helped you ??

Thanks

I would like to know where its under MRSP as well. I took 3 months or more straight calling and emailing dealerships literally in every state across the USA, trying every trick in the book, to get a couple thousand off below MRSP. Trying the internet sales manager, as well as fleet manager. They were so sooooo cocky. And they were enjoying it! I probably peed off every dealership in the united states by the time it was all said and done. Im stubborn ya know. It was a horrible 3 months. Ive never paid MRSP price for any vehicle ever. But I ended up paying it for my vette. You can get a better price if you dont order it custom and buy from, in stock. But try getting it below on custom ordered from factory, which is what I did. Flew to michigan and drove her back. Ordered, produced, and delivered in about 5 weeks .

I just ordered an '06 Coupe and paid MSRP. If you're willing to take an '05, take a car that's already on a lot (and may have been test driven), go out of state to find a car (for those of us in the Corvette boonies), and likely compromise on options or colors, big discounts ($4500+ on soft-tops) can be had. I wanted an '06, wanted to order, am in Oregon, and I couldn't find a dealer anywhere that would order an '06 for less than MSRP. Even Rick Daniels.

Corvettes have always been like airline seats. You don't really want to ask the guy next to you how much he paid. It won't change anything, and there's a good likelihood you'll just be ticked off for the entire trip. :)

MSRP on an order unit?? well I would order and ship for less. In stock I have been paying floorplan interest on. Order unit I never see one days interest.
And make sure who you order from has allocation.

He says he has allocation. We'll see. You are the only dealer I've heard from that'll order an '06 for less than MSRP. Are you assuming open or closed trailer for shipment?

Open Trailer Is How They Are Shipped From Factory. Or It Can Be Dropshipped At Your Local Dealer.
Yes I Will Order 06 Vettes For Under Msrp

Not sure if anyone is interested, but Kerbeck in Atlantic City NJ is offering 2005 C6s at $39,900 (base model w/ auto trans)

also $6500 off any 2005 vert

they called me yesterday, but I just put new wheels and tires on my 2001, so I passed

I will sell you my Z51, 2006, for 45K. Only 450 miles.

I bought my 06 from a Chevrolet dealer in Amherst, OH for $2500 below MSRP who told me he'll duplicate that deal for anyone.

In Jackson, Ms. at Blackwell Chevrolet, there is ONE red coupe selling at $52,000 and some change. I did notice that it had plain rotors. I mention this because I know in Brandon, Ms., at Rogers-Dabb Chevy, a black coupe was sold (with the cross drilled/slotted rotors) at the same price----go figure. Herrin-Gear currently has none! I see you're in California. What are they selling for out there? If the C6s are higher out there, get on a plain, go to one of the smaller cities, pick up your new C6 and drive back!

I know of some dealers that are selling at GMS.. as long as you buy some options and aftermarket totally worth it.

Pm me if interested..

Jagsfan, I'd like to test drive a vet, as I"m 6'2", and I don't know how I'd fit in one. How long would I have to grovel, beg, and plead before your dealership would allow me to plant my butt in a new vert?

beg or grovel never.just give me a call

I got mine for about 2k under msrp. I originally stopped by the dealership just to see what all the raves were about the C6. While interested in the coupe, I did not expect to take a test drive. I did and bought it. And the rets is going to be history. Just so that there is no misunderstanding. The dealer had a mark up of 5k over msrp. After about 5 hours of haggling numbers, i got it for 52g's

Hey everyone, new member here. Love all the talk about the vettes you all own and wish I was one of you!!! Just curious if anyone would consider buying a vette that was in a mild fender bender and then fix it up. You can buy them for half price of new, but I don't know how much parts are. Maybe it's not worth it? The reason is I can't really afford the pay 45-50K for a new one, but I have wanted one since I can't remember when. Anyone have any suggestions or answers. Thanks

Well I just finalized a deal at a local dealer who USED to be known for their Vette sales, but turned themselves into a "Mall" and sell all kinds of imports now.

They do have about 12 vettes, coupes and verts, all beautiful, sitting on their 2nd level showroom floor.

Anyway, I paid $43,750 for an 05 with every option except Navigation, and Mag Ride, as its a Z 51 six speed. I didnt want the Nav anyway. The car has 6000 miles on it. I looked inside and out and I dont think its been drivin in the rain. It is absolutly flawless and you cannot tell it from the brand new ones sitting next to it. So I bought it. It also has that $750 red paint option, which i like better than the 06 Montery red, a little to dark for me.

So do you guys think that is a good price? They wouldnt budge for 1 month from $45,500, the salesman said the original owner took the hit and with all those options he could sell it for more.

I kind of agree, but its all under the bridge now, I stuck to my guns (pretty much I went up $250 to make the deal, $43,500 was the number ) but in a sea of $50,000 + Corvettes, not including the tax hit I think i got a pretty decent deal. Did I?

I bought my 05 Sunset Orange coupe 2 months ago for $42,500. It is a Z51 car with everything, including navigation. It had 9,000 miles on it and had been a leased car. I just received the window sticker from the museum yesterday and the sticker new was $53,815. I am very happy with the price I paid. I waited for the 06 to come out then went looking for a used 05, knowing that the price would drop. I still see cars equal listing in the paper for 44-45, so I am pretty sure I got it for the best price I could.

got mine in so ca for 1000 of msrp didnt want to pay shipping and the added chance of damage also some dealers are having a problem getting z-51 mine was easy

got mine for $44,300 with 6400 miles on it. Everything but z51. They had it for $46,000 on the lot. Plus they gave me a good trade in on my ssr
