HI, The guy who had my 68 before me was totally incompetent and took out the vacuum headlights and replaced them with headlights that just sit in the holes in the nose. They're a real disaster.

New headlight assemblies can run $500 a piece. Is there a lower cost efficient way to fix this. I recently saw Monza clear headlight covers, but they too were 300 dollars.

Anyone know where i can get cheap headlights?

do you have any vette salvage yards in your area??they are a real good source for good parts.

Andrew, i made my own lexan covers(with a template from Bossvette) . i used light blue tinted lexan.also i painted the fixtures inside approximately to match the existing color
it really cleans up the look

Robin do you notice any loss of light with the covers on at night, I put lightly tinted ones on mine and had to take them off (I drive at night a lot)
