I didn't notice this until we had the transmission mostly out... the "box" that supports the bottom of the shifter... holds the pins that allow the shifter to pivot... is broken. It had previously been broken and welded and is broken again. The only reason it shifted at all is that the retainer that holds the rubber boot bolts to the front and the back part that is broken. It is broken no doubt to hard 1-2 shifts or trying to come down instead of down-and-over when the CAGS is engaged.
Anyway... does anyone know of a replacement STEEL or heavy duty one of these?
