I have about 25,000 miles on my 04 ZO6 and I really hate the black brake dust that builds up on the front wheels. Does anyone have a suggestion on the type of pads that I should buy when it's time that will eliminate this irratating problem???? Thanks

I normally don't push my Z06 all that hard (tires aren't that cheap anymore) however, when I do get the urge to up and go I wonder what's wrong. After winding out in first, I find that after shifting into 2nd, the engine totally boggs down for a fraction of a second (just like getting no gas)...

I tend to agree. I'm going to just monitor the oil level, and only have something done if it is really using large amounts.

I know, I know, it's a stupid question, but where is the best place to find the little connector that fits on the CAGS connection at the transmission that defeats this little pest. I don't want to just disconnect it, I want the thing that goes in between so there are no loose ends. Any help???

Evidently so.

According to the service manager, they need the car for 3 days. They say they remove the heads and intake and the pan. They then unbolt the rods and lift the pistons out. They replace the rings and then put everything back together.

I'm going to call and find out.
