Check the throttle body collant hose. It is a small hose that make about a 90 degree turn at the throttle body. The only way I found the leak on my 95 was to rev the engine with the throttle horn. A small stream came out of the bend in that hose when the engine was reved.
A second thought...
I got my first Vette when I was 20. It was a nice 86, iron head with a cam and loud exhaust. Most of my co-workers made some comment about being too young to need "personal enhancment". But now I've converted a couple of guys I work with and it's expected that I show up in it every day. Just...
I would buy a short block from GMPP. I think they run $1500-1800 depending on options. Then have a new set of valve seals put in your heads just so everything is sealed up nice again and put it all back together.

They will fit just fine except they do stick out a little past the edge of the fender. The 96 model CE's and Grand Sports had a small rear fender flare on them to accomadate the added witdth of the tire. You can buy the flares from Mid America a believe. They also had an 11 inch wide rear...
Mid America Motorworks and others sale proms that will change the fan settings for you. Here is a link, http://www.madvet.com/shop?frame=3.139.850 since your's is a 94 and up you will have to use a hand held programmer to reprogram the fan temp cut on/off. You should also swap the factory...
If I'm not mistaken, if the coolant temp continues to rise past 232 the second will come on to help cool things down. I'm not sure what temperature the second fan will turn off though.

Thanks Jeff....having the fans come on etc sounds like a good thing to look into. I'm about to do water pump and tune up so I'll have a few days to send the factory pcm in.

Since it is an auto it should be a D-36. You can get gear sets for the D-36 up to 3.73:1 in the aftermarket. Much past 3.73's and the ring gear gets too thin. If you are wanting to make some good horse power and put sticky tires on the car, then an upgrade to the D-44 would be a good choice...
I've seen a couple go locally both 91's red one with blk and one with red interior. One went for 19,000 and the other for 17,500. I would love to have had either. Both were in the 50K mile range and seemed very clean and well taken care of. I have been thinking of looking for one this fall...
I have 4 275 40R17's Sumotumo HTRZII's on my 95 and I like them. I have put about 12,000 miles on them over the last year. I haven't had to have them balanced again, and the traction is good. I took it to the "Tail of the Dragon" last October and I couldn't complain. I have neglected to...
What he said!!! Unless you run on the track a lot and really need the extra breaks, go for the cam etc. I've never driven a C6 but I would imagine it not very lacking for breaks to begin with.
