I had a bad rad cap, best I can figure... it would leak under slighter pressure.. I took the rad out had it pressure tested .. The guy at the shop suggested going to a 13# cap,, so i did.. NO LEAKS..
The rad is a copper harrison rad ... should i keep the 13 # or buy the rated 7 # cap.. At...
THis car is a frame off total restoration.. but i want to drive it .. no queen here.. I will be waiting to see how much noise before i decide to get the shielding..
Thanks Jim... I am going to put a radio in soon.. I have the grounding straps and all the capacitors.. but still need the shielding and was wondering if i really needed them or if they would be cosmetic.. thanks for the reply.

Can someone explain what the purpose of the shielding around the spark plugs and ignition coil serves... is it necessary to have the shielding installed on the car? ;shrug

From my research the main differences are:
Seat covers have different patterns
The aluminum dash insert, the 60 has the blue and red bars
In 60 they added a rear stabilizer bar.
The hood pins and plates are different.. In 60 they changed to the larger version
In 60 the rims should be painted...

I was cleaning my windshield and noticed that the drivers side of the glass has shifted down and there is a gap between the upper stainless and the top of the glasss.
What would cause this?
What is the best way to fix this so it doesn't slide again?

I have bias ply tires on my 60 and was wondering will flat spotting be a problem over the winter? Looks like the car will be in the garage from mid November til April or May...
IF this will create flat spots.. what's the pros and cons to putting the car up on jacks versus wheel dollys?

I developed a small leak at the bottom of my rad.. It is a pin hole leak.. I was going to use the liquid Bar's rad leak stop.. but the guy at the parts store said that it would probably clog up the heater core..
Would the pellets be better?
Any thoughts on this.. recommendations..:confused...
