Tom, I tried to find out what my email address is in my profile, but if that info is available, I could not find it.
I next sent myself an email, using my profile, but I did not get the email... my email address changed about 4 or 5 years ago because my old email provider went out of business...
C2 fuel line replacement
It cannot be done without some cutting & joining of the new fuel line near the rear frame kick-up. Still a bear to do, since the space is very cramped.
I have a short writeup by someone who did it back in 2001, but it may not be appropriate to post here since it came...
I assume they are metallic decals with adhesive... sounds like the adhesive that comes on the decals is not up to the task.
Perhaps it's possible to remove the adhesive (alcohol?) and use a better adhesive, such as:
Stik n Seal Extreme Conditions from Loctite Adhesives
Can't help you directly, but here's a couple of vendors that you might investigate; perhaps they know the answer:

(1) Is there a good school on gelcoat repair in some areas the bare glass is showing and I'd like to learn to repair it myself..
Here is a link to an NCRS web page listing many restoration publications; a pair of Glas-Ra pubs are listed near the bottom of the page...

Disclaimer: I've only changed the tank sender with the tank removed from the car.
If you don't have a shop manual, you ought to acquire one. Yes, what you are looking at is the gauge sending unit (yes, the float is attached to that assembly), and it sounds as though yours is leaking. According...
I love Milano maroon, but you're the guy who has to live with the color (BRG is nice, too). My '63 was silver blue, but I painted it '67 Lynnwood Blue in 1968 and never went back.
Do a Google search on '"Kelsey Hayes" Western' and you will find that Kelsey Hayes acquired Western in 1984; I can think of no reason the Western name would appear on an original 1966 wheel.
Even though made by a (now) division of the original manufacturer, perhaps even from the original...
I don't know your expertise on engines, so please forgive me if my reply doesn't reflect your level of knowledge.
Do you really mean you can feel resistance on the pedal, or feel that the pedal doesn't return immediately when you remove foot pressure, which could be caused by the linkage...
Does the word "vented" appear on the top of the cap? Is it an original cap or a repro?
I can't answer definitively, but I would expect it to vent in both directions.
When the fuel in the tank heats up or evaporates, pressure will build in the tank if the tank doesn't vent out (especially if...
Reminds me of a story.
Way back when, I took my year-old 63 Vette to a Chevy dealer for a new clutch. I stopped back to pick up the car, but it wasn't yet completed and I walked out in the shop to look at it on the lift (back then you could do things like that)... the "mechanic" had allowed the...
Try:
John Deere Blitz Black #PT107 for blackout; I think BB comes in other
glosses as well. (John Deere stores)
Eastwood "Underhood Black" (Eastwood Co)
SEM "Trim Black" #39143 (local auto supply stores)
These references are a few years old, though, so it's possible they've gone the way of...
