Hi all,
Haven't posted here for ages since I sold my C3. I am sort of turning back to buying another Vette and at the moment older late 80's early 90's C4 are seriously cheap here in the UK with quite a few having been shipped in from Japan.
Now on the C3 it was nice and mechanical, broken was...
Personally I think it is a bit over the top but someone must have liked it.

Remember this guy ????? gave your C6 a bit of a hard time.
So come on who paid them :L

Astons make an impressive debut in there first try in Europe in a close fought race, The Vette was up there with a chance running in third but failed to finish.

Proving their surprise win at Sebring was no fluke, Aston Martin made it two straight wins for the brand new DBR9...
Well today is the first time my Vette has seen sunshine in about two years, kinda lost my enthusiasim for it a while back but decided to drag it out and dust it down and see if the whine of the PJ geardrive and the thunder from the sidepipes can get me going again.
:D
nice motor but at nearly $100k :crazy could be a hard sell. Think I will stick with my C3 and the hookers and keep the change for gas ;)

I will have a small amount of money to blow and as usual numerous idea`s. I was looking for another runaround but can`t find a decent Supra for the money I have, most of the imports seem to have almost un-traceable history and original UK models are still pricey. So that leads me to probably...
My friend let me know about a 78 that has been entered in a local auction next month. It is one of the first 78`s with VIN# 400006 and it has the original engine. Not sure what options it has till he finds out some more info on it.
His question is will it be more valuable. Is it possible some...
I was clearing out some files and came accross this, I don`t know where it was previously posted but as the author makes reference to Vette`s for one of his examples and it raises some interesting points I thought you might have some comments.

I guy I know had them in his garage for a while with nothing to to put them on. I have to give him back the tyres and they need dismantled and cleaned up but I got them cheap. They are 9x15 fronts and 11x15 rears.
Looks like next project will be some rear bodywork. :L

Now I am ready to hang the sidepipes, I wondered what was the best way to attach them to the side of the car. Is it ok to hang them from the holes that the rocker panels are attached to. Is this stong enough or do I need to mount them to the chassis. They are a lot heavier than I thought they...
I eventually decided to get out and put my new cam in this afternoon. When I opened it up it was unwrapped and had rusted. Nothing to serious but I was surprised I expected it to be wrapped and lightly oiled.
:(
Anyone else had this with a Comp Cam, the box didn`t look like it had been...
There has been some criticism about the Edelbrock kits being able to do the business. Have a look at this m-peg and make your own mind up. :D

My 81 at the track
It must have been to much cheap booze at Christmas but for some unknown reason even though I have a perfectly good exhaust I ordered a set of sidepipes when I was on holiday.
This leaves me with two very nice Micron Alloy mufflers, they are rebuildable, have 2 1/2" inlets and come with nice...
I eventually got round to going for a look at the Billet Centerline wheels my friend has for sale. They look awesome but as with all good things in life they are not cheap, £1000 for the set.
The only minor problem is the size, for some reason he bought 7x17 with 255/40 tyres for the front and...
I have just ordered a new clutch after eventually finding a good UK supplier with the parts I wanted in stock and I should receive it early next week.
Any good tips on the removal and refitting of the gearbox ?
I have access to a lift to do the job.
The clutch is a QuarterMaster twin plate...
Hi,
My friend and I popped down to a local show`n`shine today, ok it wasn`t BG but its not often you get to see 9 or 10 C3`s in the same place over here so it was worth the trip. Check out the show`n`shine section later tonight for the pictures they will be under the heading "Preston Park"...
