Your and 67 Heaven's stories about starting up the car reminded me of when we started the 67 one day after it was first put together. After running the car for a few minutes I shut it off to check for any leaks. I saw a large yellow puddle on the floor near the radiator. I checked for coolant leaks but couldn't find any. Then I remembered not using the regular Prestone but rather the Dex Cool which would have been more reddish. I guess I hadn't noticed that the dog had come into the garage and the sound must have scared the heck out of him. Now, every time I go for the keys to the car he heads in the other direction.66 Red Rocket said:I had a girlfriend who was cooking lunch for us, while I was in the basement/workshop. I fired off my 502 with open hooker sidepepe headers. When I shut if off I heard her screams and ran upstairs too find our lunch all over the kitchen, floor, walls, ceiling. She said she jumped straight up. John

Everything looks great, how about a shot of the underside of the hood with the "ramair" setup on it.

Thanks for the great suggestion, John.John Mcgraw said:I now use a urethane bed lining material that can be purchased at almost any body supply house or at places like Eastwood. This stuff can be sprayed on as thick as you want, and can be tinted (about 10% ), with urethane paint to match the color perfectly. I sprayed both my front and rear wheelwells completely to a thickness of about 1/8", and the color match is perfect. This stuff is incredibly tough and ought to remain a lot eaiser to clean than painted undercoat. You apply it with the same applicator that you use for undercoating, a Body Shutz gun.
