It just ain't cool if the CHROME don't shine! :cool

This look gets my vote. I'd like a set like those on "The Beast" but the bride likes the original sawblades.

i have polished 5 spoke zr1 wheels on my white 92. love that look

I HATE 5 spoke wheels! Sure they were fresh on ZR1 20 years ago but now they are SO overdone on every car made today!
You need to start with basics first....Wheels first, color second.
Sawblades are SO MUCH better looking! You cant go wrong with painting them body color for a refined "upscale" look. Paint them black for a kickbutt racing look. It depends on the image you want to convey...which is personal.:w

Chrome. They go good with everything. Plus the little flashes you get when they are rolling looks great. I still have the aeros on mine, but when I get a bailout I'm gettin' chrome five spokes of some kind! :upthumbs

How about Metalic wrinkle Black

How about Metalic wrinkle black finish?:upthumbs

I have both satin finish ZR1 wheels and chrome wheels on my ex '92 Vette. Here's a pix with the chrome wheels:

9.5 fronts and 11 rears with ZR1 offset with GS flares and splash guards.

White A-Molds

That's a great look TopTech. I love the white A-Molds. Did you powdercoat, or buy the wheels like this?

They are powder coated, I think they were originally silver.

Very nice. I'm going to experiment with some powdercoating this spring on a spare set of wheels. I've got some credit built up ($$) with a coating specialist and he'll work with me on pretty much anything I want to do. I've seen some beautiful work done with colors that you wouldn't think would work. With arctic white it seems like you can get away with plenty.

Yes Yes Yes

In my experiance the best way to go would be stock as nothing quite matches the ability of the designors at Chevy to put the rite stuff in the rite place. The wheels that A model came with just could not be topped by anything else than what came on them. It is your call of course but if you want 30 years of sound advice?
They don't get paid 6 figures for nothing. Take their advice, stock is stunning in a way that is only captured by CHEVROLET.
Couldn't agree more.
Very few cars look good with black rims.:chuckle

Personally, I would refurbish and keep the sawblades. Even if ZR! wheels were the oems for LT1s and if the sawblades were the aftermarket ones, i would buy sawblades for sure :beer

Wheels

:cool!: Go with the ZR1 wheels and Black I just had mine powder coated It looks MEAN

I think these cars would make any rim look good. I like the sawblades myself but, it's a matter of preference. They all look great!
