I swapped the original mufflers on my 92 LT2 auto for Dynomax units. The car is otherwise stock. The sound is still a little stopped up for an old hot rodder. What is the online Vette world's opinion about canning the resonators and replacing with pipe. Original cat. convt. still in place.

I think you will like it too... The problem with dynomax is the sound (or I should say lack of it) Getting rid of the resonator will make it sound better.... I suggest you keep your resonator though, in case it gets too loud inside the car. The standard plan of attack on an exhaust system is to get rid of the mufflers and keep the resonator, not the other way around... so it may be noisy inside the car

Yes U will Enjoy the Muffler eliminators, I did, U can find them at Mid Amer, only 125 buks, or u can pipe them in yourself, but Mids come with LT1 polished tips, Sound is Awsome, and much cheapier then Borlas, as long as U dont mind a little noise in the cockpit, but Like U , I enjoy the rummble of the V8:beer
