:D 79....L-82:D

80 - 82

My dad had a 1970 which I loved as a boy so it was tough not to vote for that year range.

My 81 is great style-wise but wish it had the performance of the chrome bumpers. That will be changed in the near future ;)

I voted 80 - 82, since I also own a 81 since it was new and I plan on it being buryed with me, since they won't be able to pry my hands off the steering wheel.

70-72 Hands Down!!!!!!

They were more refined then the 68-69 even though l had a 68 and the 70-72 had the performance.

And putting the looks behind the later C3's had nothing in the performance dept.

Now if they were modified then that's another story.

Alan

p.s. Nothing against any year, had to pick one!

The black 69 convert. with the ZL-1 engine was the car to own.... and of coarse the red interior

Gotta Go With 80 - 82 !!

Tough question, they all have unique styling !! But if I was cornered and had to make a choice, I would vote for the 80 - 82. These years maintain the look of the early C3's, yet add a modern style to this model. Of course, being a proud owner of a 1981, does not influence me what so ever !! ;)

My all-time favorite is still the 1969 L-71 Tri-power, Mille Miglia Red w/ White soft top. I voted 68-69.

But, I still love my 80 and don't know that I'd trade it now for the '69. Six years ago? In a heartbeat. But not now... I'd just have to have them both!

'70 LT1 was the best SB evHA, and my L46 was a close second! And who wouldn't love to have an LS7?

I favor the 70-72 years....Love them all but 70-72 was perfection in my eyes with the chrome bumpers and wheel wells flared out.. Some of my favorites were the 70 LT-1 and 71 LS6. All sharks have a class all to themselves from 68-82 that will always be a timeless stlye and never look dated.

It says that I voted, but I don't remember which style I voted for. I always liked the 427 vettes (68-69), but I also like (obviously) the LT-1's. I think I've always been more partial to the 427 years though, and in particular, 1969.

I have a 81 and dear ol' dad has a 1972. The '72 has the muscle car look and the 81 has the sports car look. Its like comparing your last girlfriend to your wife...same make and model but definatly different features.

Though I love my baby and had to vote for the 70-72, the most gorgeous Vette I've ever seen is Chris & Nikki's Killer Beast. Some day I'd love to own a black 69 big block convertible... :D

They are ALL BEAUTIFUL - some just a little more than others :D :) :upthumbs

I agree, they are all beautiful, the '73 just happens to look a little better than the rest. :)

Hey, what is the brand and size wheels on that black 69 convertable? I HAVE to get a set. I was leaning towards torque thrusts, but the wheels on that car are magnificent.
