This brings back memories.:ugh
I had a couple plenum bolts that wouldn't come out also. I used a small angle grinder to cut a nice big slot across the head of the bolt. I then put a dull bit in a short throw pneumatic chisel and came into the slot at an angle to turn the bolt. Between the...
The real lesson is that most failure modes have multiple things that can cause the failure. That's why you should diagnose the problem down to the failing component and not just throw parts at it.
You need to make sure it gets fixed really good.
I haven't used Kiss' personally, but I have seen some of their work and it looks good. They could probably give you some references.
I hear you. Mine is in a baggie hanging on the side of the fridge. It came off and I was lucky enough to find it. I had the same thing happen with one of the fender side emblems. I found that one too and put it back on with JB Weld. It's been holding up for a couple years now. I'll...

2. I can now play CDs.

Factory design on the '88 is for the fan to come on at 230. It rarely gets that hot unless in heavy stop and go traffic. I would think the '87 would be the same.
The best I've come up with is the cordless screwdriver with a long T40 bit. It beats the heck out of the ratchet, but still isn't near as convenient as the newer ones.

We've had XM for a few years now. First on the Buick LaCrosse and now on the Saturn Aura XR. My wife loves it. I could probably get along without it, although I do listen to it sometimes on my comupter at work. We travel between Minneapolis and Chicago occassionally, so being able to get...
