Need Help to ID Intake Noise

Not a clue. Does your dealer have decent mechanics? Some tecnicians don't know anything that doesn't throw a code. Never noticed that noise on my 2014.

    Question: shocks

I "know" there is a "work around" for the issue, but I can't remember what it is for the life of me. Try going to CorvetteMechanic and ask Paul. I assume he would know.

    C7 Year Identity?

    Not that I'm aware of.

    Question: shocks

Mid America and others used to sell a kit to use when replacing with non-oem shocks that would eliminate the thrown code. Don't know if they still do.

    Question: Criticizing the Corvette

I have have been very critical of the transmission and engine overheating issues surrounding the C7 at even mild track day events. How could Chevy engineering not have encountered both situations in testing, especially at the Ring? More importantly, how can it be a World class sports car when...

    C4 problem

Could be, but I'd still replace the fuel filter for sure, and still use a bottle of Techron in with the Lucas. Techron is actually factory recommended, and has been proven to remove deposits in independent testing. Run the half tank with the double dose through, and see if there is an...

    C4 problem

Injection? Dirty Fuel?, fuel filter? Run a double dose of Techron in a half tank of gas. If there is an improvement, look further at fuel system. If not, start checking electrical.

    Overheated

Overheating of the transmission, and sometimes the engine, is a huge shortcoming of the C7s, especially Zs. It happens frequently at track days, and even gearhead magazine tests. It's a pretty serious flaw for a car with the aspiations and mojo of the Vette. The last time I checked, GMs...

Help! Need advice or info about my 1998 corvette in repair shop and new problems coming up (per dealer)

I think your entire dealership experience on this issue reeks. There are too many iffy issues. I'd go elsewhere ASAP.

Yenko Returns with a Limited Edition 800 HP C7 Corvette

Good looking car, but the Yenko name is bogus. Some traditions can't be licensed. The name attached to the Vette should have gone away with Don.
