"Come on, lets hear some more"

Hi Guy.

Addendum: Opps!! Already been brought up. I should have read the previous posts. Sorrrrrryyyyyy.....

Couldn't have been put it any better Heidi, :upthumbs

If members are afraid to post questions, and if/when they do and no one bothers to answer them or they do and put them down it most definently defeats the real purpose of this forum. Which I thought was to just visit and interact and sometimes just carry on a good old conversation. It has to be fun or I would not come back; these are just some of the things that seperate this site from some of the rest out there. I come from the old school maybe where there is not a dumb question if you don't know the answer. Let's not get like some of the other sites out there. CAC IS THE BEST AND LET'S KEEP IT THAT WAY, it will take us all to do that; PLEASE! Let's welcome new members and make them a part of this community that we all love. Maybe some else at some point posted a thread that had been around before, who cares, aren't we among friends here? If it's not fun or I don't feel comfortable why come back?

The nature of this particular beast...is these new members want to participate and interact, with the established members and find their own place within the Community we have here.
Most anyone can go research past posts, other internet information sites or automotive manuals and get the information they are looking for....everyone has to start somewhere with a question, what they are REALLY looking for when they come to this Community, is a human connection.
I'd rather keep it that way and not worry about getting frustrated with repeat posts/questions.

So from the outside looking in,

I am a C5 owner and spend much of my time in the C1/C2 section,

This post is not an inviting post to represent the CAC to a new member,Poking fun at what seems like a resonable questions to ask.

A new owner, normally means a new Member or some one transplanting from another section of the board,And they should not be alienated because they are not "all knowing Yet"

The sad day will be when no one ask's any questions and the forum has no action at all.

I spend alot of time in the C1/C2 section and yes sometimes I get tired of the same old questions,But I answer them as quickly and as knowledgable as I can and it makes for an active forum (an active forum makes for an interesting forum.)

I dont mean to offend any one here its just my opion and thought I should share it.

Tires

Hey Remo want to buy some nice snow tires for your Vette?

I agree! The dumbest question could very well be the one that was never asked. I don't believe in discouraging any questions.

less filling........tastes great?

Seriously I find the "What _____ _____ do you like best?" irritatiing. Members it's your damn car! Do what you want to with it. I don't care what color it is, what wheels are on it, or if you got a monster wing tacked on the the ass end.
You paid for it you drive it.

Bill,

I'm not talking about the questions that "never" get asked. I'm addressing the questioins that get asked everday or worse - the ones that are covered on page one of your owners manual.

Heidi & Hotwing,

Now you two are itching to get me going on the subject of "do you drive your Corvette in the snow", aren't you? You'ld have to admit that particular thread brought out some of the most moronic rationale we've ever read. No I don't think we should revisit that one.

Remo:cool

What color should I get?
I don't have to live with it, why should I care, don't ask.

(innocent smilie, batting her eyes) C'mon Remo, Hotwing offered you a perfectly good set of snow tires so you could try it out. :D (still batting eyes innocently)

I do think all of this is making me a little dizzy now; yes, ok, whatever, quit it; GIVE A BREAK! I think I understand, maybe, well on second thought I'm not sure. I have a delete button that I use when I don't want to read something, and I use it whenever necessary or I just feel like it.

:v is really all I know for sure; I first of all love driving them, looking at them is nice too.

Bill :w

Heck Remo.....I'll even through in a set of chains with the snow tires just in case it really gets deep!!!!......(he he)
