It was back to the paintshop today for a redo of the items I mentioned earlier. One of the main items was the rear bumper fit and it looks like we now have that pretty well sorted out. Then, it'll be time to repair that crack that resulted from tightening the driver's rear bumper incorrectly.
Also, we'll bond the induction fiberglass on the underside of the hood and correct some issues at the headlight buckets. The simple act of removing the headlight motor allowed the driver's side bucket to move into a more correct position. I'll have to consult with Fuelie about what the reason could possibly be. :confused
I spent the day removing the headlight bucket guts, rear bumpers, lower rear valance, mirrors, antenna, gas cap and trim, wiper grills, license trim and lighting, etc. to get ready for a complete wet-sanding and more clear.
I'm trying to imagine how much deeper that red can get, but Ron tells me, "Wait and see!"
The goal is to get it back home by next Wednesday or Thursday.

You'll be able to get on it soon enough.
it took me a week to get 500 on my 76 when I put the TPI in it, but after that the fun starts:cool . But if the snow holds off you might get it done before you have to put it away.
