That's one bad looking plug. :boogie:boogie:boogie Just one in a long line I guess.

What kind of tires are those Jesse? What size are they? They have an interesting tread design.

Actually, thats the only melted plug I've found on the car,I've found several that the connection pins have been hot and needed taken apart, cleaned and connections tightened up!!:thumbI'd think that a wiz bang Chevrolet Wrench Man that diagnosed a bad AC Control Head($349.97),Blower Speed Module($189.05) Back up Light Switch($169.24) Plus $450.00 Labor would have caught that,Especially since it was probly the problem with the AC in the first place!!;shrug;shrug;shrugBut then, what do I know,I don't get paid the Big Bucks,I just have to fix'm after they can't!!!:boogie:boogie:boogie
When I agreed to do this job I knew that this car would be chase 1 bad connection after another till you find them all,I knew that it would be mostly grounds effected,Thats the way Lightning dose,It's look'n for a ground!!:thumb:thumb:thumb
There is only 1 thing worse than Lightning!!Flood Damage,It Corrodes EVERY Connection,EVERY Switch and Every Electrical Component it comes in contact with!! Especially if the battery had a good charge when she went under!!:thumb You couldn't run fast enough to get me to repair a salt or brackish water flood car,I wouldn't even talk to you about fixing it!!:D:D:D

SOFT and WIDE!!:boogie:boogie:boogie
I've seen stiffer pencil erasers,I bet there Sticky and will Hook Up when Hot!! Got a 180 tread ware rating!:thumb

They are 315/35ZR-17 Kumho Ecsta XS. Or at least I hope they are; that's what I ordered.

Yep,Thats what they are!!:thumb:thumb:thumb

Yeah I've had a car with hurricane damage before but lucky for me the water stopped three inches or so up the doors; only filled the floor boards and left stuff behind on the outside. That car is an 82 Trans Am.

299 miles,22 warm up cycles,No Runs,No Drips,No Errors!!:thumb

:D

Just got back from Chevrolet,Wrong Plug!:hb:hb:hb
GM is out of stock on the right one,but he found a dealer in Jersey that has a couple and is sending one out!!:thumb:thumb:thumb

PS. 347 miles,26 warm up cycles,No Codes and everything is working perfectly!!:thumb:thumb:thumb

Are you getting paid for test driving?:thumb

Glenn
:w
No Glenn,I usually do long test drives after hours and on my own time!!When going to Marion,Asheville,Hickory or Forrest City after parts or paint!:thumbI like to do allot of stop and go,in town and on the road like they get drove everyday!!:thumbI hate it if a light pops on after a customer picks their car up on their way home,Most of my major problem children comes from miles away and I want "All" my customers to have "Miles of Smiles" out of their Corvette!!:thumb:thumb:thumb

Thats just the kind of SOB I am!! :D
