I am now the proud owner of two. A 92yellowcoupe (which may be for sale) and an 02yellowvert. The 02 is wonderful, So civil and the LS1 just wants to wind but it dosent feel as tight in the corners. I am thinking about larger roll bars but was really wondering if I would gain anything from wider wheels and 275 tires on the front like my 92?

And don't forget -- the F45 has the FE1 (base suspension) sway bars.
I have F45 on my car and also the Z06 (FE4) sway bars. I could notice a decrease in the amount of body roll in hard cornering. Not that there was much to begin with. It also seems to be a bit more harsh over all of the bumps and holes in the road here in Italy. But to me the improvement in handling is noticable if the road is not too bumpy.
I also have an 02 vert that started life with the base (FE1) suspension. I first changed the to Z06 sway bars which greatly reduced body roll but did not address the floaty feeling. The 2nd round I changed to used Z51 springs, added Bilstein Sport Shocks, and lowered approx 1". This greatly improved overall handling but was stiff and noisy due to the run-craps. I then replaced the wheels and tires to chromie Z06 18" wheels and Michelin Pilot Sports in 265x70x18 front and 295x70x18 rears. The car now corners like it is on rails and is still very comfortable for long distance drives.
Thankyou all for your responses. My 02 has the FE1 and The F45. It sounds like switching to the ZO6 wheels and tires would give the simplest improvement without creating a harsh ride, although not the cheapest.

Hi there,
I would also suggest switching to the F55 retrofit kit, which is coming out in about 3 months. This basically will retro the newest suspension to your car, and is plug and play.
That in combination with the Z sway bars, will make a substantial difference in your cornering and ride control.
