Now Guy's, Sorry but I think I have to Go with Millennium Yellow. From the Practical Stand Point and Maintenance!!! Silver is just 2 or 3 kind's of aluminum Flake and a drop or two of Black, Blue,Green,or White and some Binder!! Don't have enough pigment to Hold up to environment!!! Yellow however has Lot's of High Solids,Iron Oxide,Ferret Yellow,White, and misalliance tint's and Binder!! But Mostly High Solids!! Besides I may be a Bit Prejudice, I have a Old Yellow 72 Old's!! :D junk!!

You guys really need to stop playing spoiler with poor Remo's winter meds. I promise you, if Remo goes over the edge, we're all going to regret it. :W

Remo, Quicksilver is nice, understated, sleek color. Not quite as stealth as black, but certainly in the same family. Don't listen to them. Deep breaths. Just keep thinking of Dwayne's reaction when he has no choice but to stare at your tail lights after the Lingenfelter upgrade.
:upthumbs

And don't forget to take your meds.

Add another vote for yellow. That said, I wish they would still offer Polo Green. I have never driven my C-4 without someone commenting on how much they liked the color combination with the tan interior.

You know what? I like red corvettes, so my next one will be a red corvette and if had lots of money I would also have a black one. Silver is nice but it gets old real fast,,Yellow gets the ladies to look at you… :D

Sorry Remo.

Heres some more Meds. :D

This Just In.......

My friends,

I draw your attention to page 10 of the most recent addition of Corvette Quarterly. The customer color choices for the 2005 Corvettes (37,372 units sold) went like this:
  • 21.4% Black
  • 18.4% Machine Silver
  • 15.0% Victory Red
  • 10.1% Lemans Blue
  • 9.1% Magnetic Red
  • 8.0% Daytona Sunset Orange
  • 5.4% Mellenium Yellow
  • 5.3% Artic White
  • 3.5% Precision Red
  • 2.0% Velocity Yellow
  • 1.9% Montery Red
Well my friends - what can I say. It further proves my theory that "silver" owners rule. It's just that they don't want to make a big deal about it.

Have a swell Christmas

Thank you Remo for bringing these statistics up as they just help to prove that MY is a much better color. As stated in a previous post, chicks dig yellow. The wives do not. That is one reason why fewer MY Vettes were sold. Also MY was an added $750 dollar option and the wives tightened the purse strings saying that their men had already spent enough and didn't need that bright color. They said this fully knowing that MY is a chick magnet. This is the truth and cannot be refuted.

Merry Christmas

Thanks for posting, Remo. I saw a LOT of C6's this past year, but the nicest, far and away the nicest, was a silver/black/black vert. I had to pull into the dealership to check it out. Talk about SWEET! -John

Give me RED till I am dead...otherwise I will settle for mellow...er I mean Millennium Yellow. Silver and White are for old guys and rental cars.

Hey Sunflower,

I think it's safe to say the Millenium Yellow sales (trendy as they were) are on the way out. Judging by the swing to silver cars, I'd guess that at least some of them were former MY owners that one day woke up, walked out into the garage and said "OMG, what was I thinking?"

Remo:cool

Ur still behind da ball aren't ya - Millennium Yellow was replaced by Velocity Yellow! Millennium Yellow was not fast enough for the C6. ;LOL

BTW - I think ya need to back off a bit on the meds Patty & Tammy are given ya! :D

Later,
Flowerboy . . . I mean 6 Shooter

Those of us with White cars don't want to be put in the middle of this. :ugh This is between Remo and 6 Shooter. :L

Remo I'm on your side, because 6 Shooter also gives me crap about my White car. (He sometimes forgets that I have the key to his house). :D
